I was thinking about getting pet insurance and a friend had Spot and told me they were legit and easy to work with. I purchased the policy about 7 months ago. Now, my premiums are pretty expensive because my cat is older, but that's when you need insurance, right? He'd never really been sick, so no pre existing conditions to worry about. Last week, he got sick and ended up having to have surgery for a large hairball I. His stomach. It was too large to pass. I submitted my claims for all of the visits and attached my invoices from the vet. Spot did everything else. Before the week was over, they had initiated deposits to my account for exactly what my policy said they should pay. I'm thrilled with them and I'm pretty happy with myself for getting it when I did. If you're on the fence, don't wait! You could need it sooner than you think.

Super easy to submit my vet bill
Super easy to submit my vet bill and receive insurance benefits. I downloaded the bill and gave a brief description of the illness of my dog Archer. In less than a week I received an email from spot that my claim is been reviewed and 90% of the invoice will be covered. Very happy and satisfied. This is my second time in 4 years to submit a substantial injury / illness claim.

Trupanion was an amazing insurance for the life of our sweet dog Babe who just passed. Although she had many health issues, we never worried about getting her the best care because of Trupanion. We were always treated so kindly and respectfully by all staff and always understood and any all coverage decisions. Have yet to even be able to access the online account. Was received the link to log in but it doesnt work. Person on phone tried but wasnt successful. Not good first impressions when its nothing but issues the second you sign up before i even need to use it so not sure what to expect if i need to make a claim when the site doesnt even work

Simple and easy process
I filed a claim with multiple invoices when my 3 year old doodle ingested a foreign object. Her treatment required multiple x-rays to see if all the pieces were passing. Finally an endoscopy was needed to remove everything. The Pets Best application is very simple to use. I just uploaded the invoices and received a confirmation email right away. My claim was processed satisfactorily in less than two weeks. The process could not have been easier.
