DON'T DO IT!
So I saw all the reviews and I applied anyways some where good. Well Was I wrong! I have 3 cats and 2 dogs one was 9 at the time. Well when it came to renew the older Dog was going to be 10 years old and more money and that was ok but the last 2months before the date they should be taken the money out They took out more money then they should have. I asked them about the first time and they said nothing and the 2nd time they said I was sent a letter that before the big payments would start I would need to pay a deposit why I have been with you all for a year. I asked to cancel all 5 animal's I had with them....Talk about biting the hand that feeds you! No one asked if I would like to talk to a manager and I can only assume they wouldn't care as well.! Then I asked if the money would be put back in my account they said yes. Well Not there yet it was 3 days late I had to call back and they stated it takes 8 days for this to happen WTH they have no problem taken your money but can't give it back as fast as they can take it out that's CRAP! I have to say they are not flexible as well they don't care if you live check to check like the rest of the world! I'm going back to HEALTH PAWS I never had a problem with them! I think all insurance is a scam and to fill pockets for the big people but man when your pets get hurt they should be there! I have to say HEALTH PAWS was there for my older Dog I should of never left! I did leave because I was going to put the new cats on as well and Health Paws was a lot don't for get I live check to check with the rest of the world. So going back to them with the Dogs maybe I will fine a place for the cats and this time I will do my research well for them!

Great straight forward service. Paid full $5000 of coverage on my dogs $8,310 surgery with no fuss. Couldn't be happier.

Lenny's bladder stones
When we purchased Pets Best insurance for our adopted dog, Lenny, we hope we wouldn't have to use it for anything other than routine care. When he was diagnosed with bladder stones, the x-rays and surgery proved quite costly. Thankfully, Pet's Best system made it easy to file claims and they paid promptly. Glad we did it!
definitely not for exotic pets
There are very few exotic pet insurances out there, and I was told metlife was the exception. I was told wrong. I have had multiple complications and misinformation about my policy and what it covers from the moment I got my quote. I was told my policy would cover spay/neuter over the phone, but now I am told it isn't covered, and I am out 4,000 dollars with no assistance. (I have a rex rabbit btw)

Best pet insurance
I was able to give my dog the care he needed to save his life thanks to Healthy Paws. The claims process was simple, and reimbursement was fast. I could not ask for better service or care during a stressful time. There are no words to express my gratitude to my pet insurance company.

Better to not have insurance
They hide everything in the fine print. Their accident and illness plan doesn’t cover the emergency exam portion of your emergency visit which is often half of the price of taking your pet to an emergency vet. They also only pay $150 towards spay/neuter and won’t cover anything that is labeled as pre-op such as medications or the pre-op visit, even though they advertise covering spay/neuter. We paid $71/month for 9 months with a new puppy (lots of exams, vaccines, office visits, neuter, and emergency visits) and got reimbursed a whopping $200 total in that time because nothing is covered or even counts toward your deductible. It makes more sense to not have this insurance.
They have been dragging their feet from…
They have been dragging their feet from the very start of our FIRST claim with them. It has been 20 days and several emails plus a direct letter to them asking what they keep saying 10 days for a claim to be processed. It is double that now. This is not a large claim. With the results received from this small claim, I am worried that if we had a major claim this would be the result. We have two dogs insured with them and will be looking elsewhere for a reputable pet insurance company.

I recommend Embrace Pet Insurance to everyone I know. They have been great with all our dogs. The claims process is very easy!

Reimbursement takes way too long.
The 1st time we took our dog to the vet after getting onto Embrace, our reimbursement was deposited into our bank within 2 or 3 DAYS! This 2nd visit, 3 months later, was much higher than expected. We need that reimbursement , but we’re told online that it could be 1 MONTH. We need it deposited ASAP - not a month later. If this is what to expect, then maybe we’ve made a bad choice.
