I am very happy with Spot Insurance. It has a easy layout to upload documents, update pet information and put in claims. I put in my first claim and it was approved in a few days. They recommend direct deposit, but I wanted to see how things went before committing to direct deposit. You can add addition animals for a quick and easy quote, along with a discount for having multiple pets. I am so happy I found Spot, as it is creating a fun experience with the insurance company. I highly recommend to anyone who has a pet.

I’m very wary of pet insurance companies as I’ve been scammed and burned before with a previous insurance company. But Spot has restored my faith! Typical insurance - denying legitimate claims.

My premium went up roughly 20% with no notice and then a wellness check for my older dog was denied because we also got blood work done to check on liver levels, which were elevated a year ago. I brought this up to the company and said I could have taken my dog in for two separate appointments,(wellness check, and then go back for a blood draw) but that causes extra stress on my dog. Spot Pet Insurance said they want to do everything they can to make their customers happy, but they wouldn't move off of this claim. Clearly they don't want to do everything possible. It was a simple request given I've paid them thousands of dollars. Even if I had not have paid a lot of money already, it is still a reasonable request.
