Simplicity and satisfaction.
I love how easy and fast it is to file a claim online. I used to have my vet office do it until I realized how faster it is to do it myself. The vet office would take at least a week to do it and then I had to wait for the mail to get to ASPCA, and it would be 2 weeks before I could view the claim online. I now file it online myself and within seconds it is available to track! I love how simple it is to read the explanation of benefits. The website is easy to navigate and pretty straight forward. There was only one time I had to call customer service over something that was my fault regarding my plan. I forgot to add the wellness plan to my new puppy's plan. They were able to fix that for me even though you are only allowed to change your plan once a year. I had been a loyal customer to them for over a year before I insured my second dog through them. ASPCA vales their customers. I only filed one claim in my first year insured by them. I was satisfied with my refund and the simplicity of it all. Days after receiving my new puppy I was at the vet for her first visit. And second. A month later she was hospitalized twice. I filed many claims within the first few months of her life. I am highly satisfied with the service I have received. The only thing I'd suggest improving is the amount of money I am refunded. How great would it be to receive 100% back? Also, it would be nice to be able to not have to pay up front and wait for the money refund. I understand that is not how animal insurance works.

Always Great Service and Response Time!
We initially signed up with Embrace through USAA; noting that the premiums were beyond reasonable. Our prior insurance company had raised their premiums to a ridiculous cost and began excluding basic services. We've been with Embrace for several years. We have several dogs; a few of them are rescues that became part of our family because no one else wanted them. Two of our babies became very ill after a few months and needed emergency Doctor Care. Embrace was there to help us get through those dark times and the cost. I would highly recommen=d using them for your four legged babies.

A real insurance policy!!
I've never had pet insurance on a pet. Last year we purchased an English Mastiff puppy. My vet encouraged me to get pet insurance (trupanion) since my dog was going to be a big boy and might encounter issues over the years. So...we got the insurance. Six months later, 'Moose' found a bottle of ibuprofen and consumed half the bottle. After he began throwing up and acting lethargic we rushed him to the vet. His organs were all failing. He was put on IV's in admitted to the hospital where he stayed for a week. After returning home, he was on numerous medications and a special diet for several months. He is now 100% recovered! Looking back now...his vet bills exceeded $6000. We paid about $700. There was never any discussion with insurance. They approved everything...no questions asked. Much, much better than my own 'people' insurance. Very, very happy with Trupanion! I now have insurance on my other dogs too.

I just put a claim in 2 days ago for my dog's neutering and the staff at Embrace sent me an e-mail letting me know they received the claim. The next day, I got an e-mail saying the claim has gone through. Quick and efficient work from the staff at Embrace. It is greatly appreciated to have such support from Embrace. I also thoroughly enjoy the fact that I can track the progress of my claim on Embraceinsurance.com.

all around good experience
Our 8 year old lab Maddie was diagnosed with an autoimmune system problem, and she had to undergo tons of tests. To know that we had pet insurance from day one, was a very comforting thought. ASPCA certainly confirmed our trust, the reimbursement was prompt and without problems. I certainly would and have recommended ASPCA to all my friends with dogs. .

CUSTOMER FOR LIFE!
I got AKC free trial insurance when I registered my pup. I renewed it after the first free month, and within a week I made a claim...my dog ate part of a toy and had to have it surgically removed. Now, I thought surely since I had ONLY made ONE payment, I figured the insurance company would be hesitant to pay the claim. I am HAPPY to say they paid over 3/4 of the amount and they paid it QUICKLY and with no hemming or hawing! THEY HAVE ME FOR LIFE!

Still waiting for payment
Our claim for our dog was approved on December 12th and a check was issued to me on the 15th (despite the fact that I signed up for direct deposit payment when I got this plan a year ago) and we never received the check. I spoke with someone last week who agreed to cancel the check and deposit the funds into my account. I was told that takes 3 business days and I would have the funds no later than Monday. I called yesterday because we still hadn't received payment and was told at that time that it had to go through the finance department and there hasn't been any activity on their end to resolve the claim. This has been one of the most frustrating experiences I have had. I pay my premium every month and my claim was filed in a timely manner and my claim was approved and I have been told over and over again that we will get reimburst but nothing yet. I've paid a lot of money over the last year for this so called "insurance" and would really appreciate some resolution.

Amazing insurance company!!!
Our 1 year old Jake had a costly hospital stay and Healthy Paws came to the rescue. The claim was simple to submit! Just snap a picture of the bill with my phone and that was it. We heard back with feedback the same day and had a check within a week. They even emailed us later to find out how Jake was feeling! A great company!!

Trupanion is fantastic!
Trupanion is the faithful and loyal companion that any responsible and loving pet owner could ever hope for. We have been with Trupanion for five years and they have gone above and beyond in assisting us with the various illnesses and emergencies that our dogs have had—including a serious chronic illness which our oldest dog has had for four years. I recommend them to anyone in a second.
