Saved over $10k through Trupanion
Just recently, my dog fell ill and passed away. Four months of tests, diagnosis, a surgery, and other treatments led to over $15k in costs, 90% of which were fully reimbursed by my plan. Losing my dog was really hard, but it was made a lot easier not having to make a decision between his life and how much it would cost to get him better. There are several great things about working with Trupanion: - reimbursement checks are received promptly, usually <1 week after claim - my vet works directly with Trupanion so that I don't have to front the cash for expensive procedures - they make it easy to see how policy changes (change in deductible, new pets, etc) will affect your monthly payment - it's very affordable if you start when your pet is young (was $45/month for my Boxer) The only nit I had with the service is that it's not easy to file a claim online. I wish they had a web form which could take receipt images/PDFs and auto-create a claim without having to mail/email anything.

Figo Pet insurance is easy, affordable, and has excellent customer service!
I've never had pet insurance before, but adopted a 1 1/2 year old cat. Since his prior life experience was not well known, I wanted to be prepared. I prefer to deal one on one with people versus the computer when researching purchases, and Figo's customer service person Lauren was exceptionally helpful. I haven't had to use my insurance yet, but I have peace of mind knowing that I have coverage should my lovely cat need anything.

My dog Charlie is on his 3rd surgery. The up front out of pocket cost is extremely expensive. I had $$ back in my account within 2 business days of the vet sending the surgery information. I tell everyone that I can about Trupanion. I'm surprised not many people are aware of pet insurance.

Pre-existing condition re-evaluated
A statement from the veterinarian was misunderstood and when it was brought to their attention, an explanation from the veterinarian was requested, it was reviewed and an appropriate adjustment was made. It was all handled professionally and resolved. Very pleased with how it was handled.

Healthy Paws saved our Sparks' life
There are only great things to say about Healthy Paws. They were concerned with Sparks' welfare, helpful, very quick to pay our large animal hospital bill and generally the best insurance company I've dealt with. Without Healthy Paws we wouldn't have been able to save our best friend.
