Pet Insurance

I have a "grand dog" named Bella that is 6 years old and have never thought about purchasing Pet Insurance for her. 2 of a friends dogs were in her backyard and were bit by a snake creating a lot of medical expense at an Emergency Clinic. I then decided to seek the best option for Pet Insurance for Bella and chose Healthy Paws which was the best decision I have ever made. This was in 2015 and Bella had to have surgery on her back leg last year (with PT for 8 weeks) and again on both legs this year. As soon as I sent the claim to Healthy Paws within a week my claim had been processed and the check was on the way. Health Insurance for my family does not process that fast!!!! Also I always receive a follow up inquiring as to how Bella is doing and that the Healthy Paws Team send her "hugs". Bella is a very important member of my family and we want only the very best of care for her. I cannot express how wonderful the Healthy Paws Team has been and I would highly recommend this coverage for your pet.

14 year customer and I'm done with you VPI!

I've been with VPI for 14 years, my first English Bulldog had coverage from 6 months old until he passed at 9. No complaints then. I put my 2nd English Bulldog puppy on the plan as soon as I brought him home. I made two claims over the past 4 years for minor injuries and was never paid out because we didn't meet the $250 deductible. However, they just raised my monthly payment by $12 a month with no notice. No letter, not even an email. For the price they are charging, I was able to get a plan with Embrace that offers way better coverage and from the looks of the reviews, much better customer service. Way to go VPI. You've lost another customer.

HP takes the $ out of caring for your pet!

I have nothing but positive things to say about Healthy Paws as they have done nothing but safeguard our beloved dog and make it possible for her to receive the best possible care. It was only two months after adopting our rescue dog, LUNA, that she came down with a virus/pneumonia -- resulting in a four day stay in the emergency room. It cost me close to 3 grand, out of pocket. It was then that I began looking for pet insurance. I'm not sure if Healthy Paws was a recommendation or not, but I definitely appreciated the flexibility to decide how much to pay monthly versus deductible versus coverage threshold. And boy do I feel smart now -- as Luna recently had to have surgery on a torn ACL as well as another overnight stay in the emergency room. This would have been close to $7000 out of pocket -- but thanks to Healthy Paws I'm only on the hook for 10%, Not having to factor in the cost of surgery or care for your pet is the absolute best thing a pet owner can hope for and for this I am grateful and appreciative of Healthy Paws.

A-Plus Service

Our two year-old Newfoundland had an ear infection. I've had several claims and all have been processed very quickly. I had a question on one claim and emailed my question. The response was the next day and my question was answered perfectly. I have recommended Embrace to several people. Everyone is super nice to deal with and I am so glad I picked Embrace!

Such a cliche, my dog ate chocolate!

After our dog Willow ripped open a Christmas gift which just happened to be chocolate, we had to take her to the ER vet where she spent the night and is great now. Embrace was very responsive with the process, although they were a little slow with the payment. They were very understanding and responsive when I called to check on the update, and apologized for the delay. I understand it happened right around Christmas/New Year so I will give them the benefit of the doubt. They wound up paying about half the cost, and I have no problem with that. Definitely will keep using Embrace, just please no more chocolate as gifts!

Reliable & Easy

I've had Embrace for 6 months at the recommendation of my vet due to the age of my cat who is 10. I considered cancelling it several times as it seemed a waste, but I'm so glad I didn't because two months after the policy went in to effect, Simon started having spasms and multiple trips to the vet, the hospital, an MRI, and a spinal tap later, and still he was not diagnosed as the problem was so rare. Most of claims were submitted by the clinics and hospitals, which was fantastic as my head couldn't handle the paperwork through the trying times. When things finally settled, I went back through everything with a very patient, very kind customer service agent and found that my claims were all handled and refunds had been automatically deposited into my bank account. Embrace even reached out to confirm my receipt of the funds. Can not recommend them enough. They make this stuff easy so you can focus on your animal.
