My precious Maggie Belle was diagnosed with glaucoma in her left eye last year. Due to our local vet and Pets Best, she is beating the odds. She is on three different eye drops three times a day and sees the local vet every few months for eye pressure checks. Pets Best has been most supportive during this journey and I am very grateful. All claims are processed promptly and I am reimbursed even faster. Thanks so much!

Denial of Claim
Bought my Golden Retriever puppy two years ago from a pet store. After taking him home noticed a rash on his stomach, and after contacting the store i was advised to take him to a vet. Vet said my puppy had a rash from the bedding and it would resolve totally in several days. A month later, I purchased a policy from Pets Best. Last week my now two year old developed a rash along the side of his face. Took him to the vet, received med, and rash resolved. Submitted claim to PetsBest. The denied claim based on the "prexisting condition" exclusion in their policy. Just about everything can be excluded under PETSBEST policy: "PRE-EXISITING CONDITION: Any Condition for which a Veterinarian provided medical advice, the Pet received treatment for, or the Pet displayed signs or symptoms consistent with the stated Condition prior to the effective date of a Pet insurance policy [Policy Effective Date] or during any Waiting Period".

Excellent customer service.
I was very pleased with the quick response I got when a claim was put in for our Golden Retrievers C Section . She had thirteen puppies and complications before and after her C Section. We were not sure she or the puppies would survive but she did and 10 of the puppies. I was glad that I didn't have to worry about the bills since I have the best insurance on her.

Exceeded My Expectations
I got a new puppy so I decided to get pet insurance for him. I have been a dog owner for 40 years but never had insurance before. I did lots of research and chose Healthy Paws. I am so so glad I did. He had an ER visit for repeated vomiting and then surgery for a possible bowel obstruction. Through all the stress of being worried for my boy, one less worry was how to pay for all of it. Healthy Paws paid their portion of the bill without hassle, even when he had to be put under again to repair the incision. I and my pup thank you, Healthy Paws!!!!!

So thankful for Trupanion. My Casey has allergies and needs monthly and weekly shots. Our last doctor visit was $660 and I only had to pay $110. I have been telling everyone and suggesting Trupanion to them.
