Thank goodness for Trupanion

I have never had pet insurance before. When I got my first American Mastiff, other AM owners suggested that pet insurance was of great importance. After several really good reports about Trupanion, I chose their policy for my dog. 4 months ago, I found out that she had an acl tear. The surgery was quite expensive and Trupanion came through like a champ. When I got my second AM, he was immediately added to my policy. I am retired and have a fixed income. Knowing that I can always care for my pets in the best way is a wonderful feeling. Thank you Trupanion.

These guys are the Zappos of pet insurance

I can't believe the outstanding customer service provided by Embrace! From start to finish, the staff was helpful, friendly and efficient! They helped me pull my dog's paperwork together and stayed in close contact throughout the entire process. I am truly impressed and appreciative. Thanks for everything!

Thank you ASPCA Insurance

I decided to buy pet insurance because Chaz, my Pembroke Welsh Corgi was a rescue and one year old when I adopted him. I had no way of knowing if there were health issues with him. As it happened, he contracted kennel cough almost immediately after I brought him home and after several hundred dollars in vet bills, I signed up with ASPCA Insurance. Since then he has had stomach issues and emergency room visits that were costly as well as normal care each year and I the insurance has really paid for itself. I think all pet owners should have some form of insurance for them as they are like children. They can't take care of themselves.

Amazing Pet Health Insurance

A big concern for my family with getting new pets was the large veterinary costs that come with pet ownership. I did a ton of research on this site and others and found Healthy Paws to have the most comprehensive, straight-forward plans. Healthy Paws has been a saving grace for our pets and our pocketbooks. I can't express how amazing the company has been over the last few months with our puppies and their various ailments. Their customer service is top notch--they always pick up the phone promptly when I call and they return emails within two hours or less. They have taken an active interest in our puppies, going so far as to ask us what nicknames we have for them and requesting pictures. Over the last six weeks alone, we've gotten back over $1,000 from vet bills because of the insurance. On New Years day, we noticed one of our puppies was not putting weight on her right front paw. Instead of hemming and hawing and waiting to take her in to the emergency vet, we knew that most of the bill would be taken care of by Healthy Paws and we brought her in to see the Vet. It turned out that she had a serious injury that required a large splint and multiple follow up visits. That initial $700 bill only cost us $120 and made the vet visit a no-brainer for us. If we had to pay the whole bill, we might have waited a couple of days to see if our dog got better (she wouldn't have) and we would have been subjecting her to unnecessary pain. Of course, all the follow up vi

Healthy Paws Pet Insurance People are the Best

I adopted this cute little Siamese Mix kitten named Simba from the shelter and immediately enrolled her in pet insurance as my last cat of 16 years died of cancer. She lived 16 healthy years till I broke the bank, and I vowed to buy pet insurance this time around. I researched the internet for different pet insurances and found many with all kinds of restrictions and conditions attached to them, so I went to a website that compared all of them(petinsurance.com) ,and found this one that rated a perfect 10. Well, I figured I could not go wrong. It was the consumer reports of the pet insurance world. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever expect the future that laid before me. After respiratory infections and ear mites subsided,my Simba came down with every covered illness in the book. My veterinarian referred me to specialists at other localities that proceeded to give her MRI's, x-rays, an echocardiardiogram all fully covered at 90%. This poor little kitty from the shelter was getting top of the line care. We found out that she injured her back but she is recuperating excellently and is escalating to high spaces. The latest issue was a experiencing a devastating eye infection. Soon she will need a minor surgery for a luxating patella of one leg. This too will be covered at 90%. The most wonderful thing of all is how much these people really care. As a former teacher I could tell that these people are real in there sense of purpose to save animals and h

Fast, Personalized, and Caring Service!

I recently enrolled my 12 year old JRT with Healhty Paws. Just weeks after enrollment he took sick with a kidney infection and spine issues. I was pleasently surprised by the fast, friendly, and thurough service. Though a complex claim with multiple conditions, I received my reimbursement check and two follow-up phone calls within days of submitting my claim! Wow! I can't think of a faster or easier interaction with an insurance company.

Reliable; Strong Communication

So far I've been impressed with Embrace because:a) They get it right the first time. b) They keep you informed of when they receive documents, when the claim has been processed, and when you can expect to receive reimbursement. This is how a business should operate. Unfortunately, these days it is surprising when a company actually does what it is supposed to do and also keeps you informed.

Love their philosophy!

I picked Healthy Paws to insure our dog Cooper because I love their mission. I love that they help rescue organizations. When we rescued Cooper two years ago we knew we needed to get him insured. In this economy we didn't want to be faced with the possibility of not being able to afford the best care for this new member of our family. Healthy Paws was a no brainer and the customer service has been excellent. I highly recommend them!

Pet owners beware,Shame on you Trupanion...

We bought Trupanion for our puppy. When we purchased the insurance we were told should our dog get sick, 90% of all charges were covered, with NO CAP and NO LIMIT. We submitted our bill of $220. We got back $9.00 Seems VET EMERGENCY EXAMINATION was not covered. That is something no-one ever told us when we purchased the policy. SHAME ON YOU TRUPANION. Pet owners beware.
