I was just a couple of days into a free trial when my puppy became very ill and had to be hospitalized. Trupanion paid 90% of the bill and sent a check within a couple of days of receiving the form. They were wonderful and caring about my pet throughout the process.

My Aussie Riley just got hit by a car last Thursday. She is going to be fine and thankfully had NO broken bones! My Vet faxed in the claim on Friday and PetsBest deposited the insurance money in my checking account on WEDNESDAY! No muss no Fuss! What a huge help because paying for a $1600 vet bill right after paying my taxes was going to be really tough. I have never had such an easy time with an insurance company. My Dog is allergic to bee stings, an epipen ($105) was coveraed at 90% as per my policy. Within 1 week of faxing the claim, I had a cheque in my hand....as usual. I have never had a problem dealing with Trupanion. They pay everything they promise to pay. Only grievance is the increase in premiums (due to inflation only--not due to claims or age of pet). Very satisfied.
