Pet's best. Really is the best!

I have had some bad luck with my dog. He has hada broken leg and posioned himself and an allergic reation to vaccines in the 18 months of life he has had so far. Without pets best he would not have been able to walk and have the surgery he needed. I am grateful for this insurance. They are fast reponsive and a lifesaver. Thanks a bunch

Very good service

I had misunderstood some things about the insurance and the people at Embrace were all very helpful and friendly. I appreciate that they stay in contact and keep me updated about my claims.

The best pet insurance company!

After getting my bichon/poodle mix puppy back in 2009, I quickly realized how much vet bills can sneak up on you. After researching pet insurance companies, I went with Healthy Paws based on all the positive reviews. Luckily I went almost a whole year without needing its services, but a couple of weeks ago my dog started urinating blood and after a checkup, it was discovered that she had large struvite stones that caused blockage. She then had to have emergency surgery to remove the stones and also be on a course of antibiotics. This resulted in a big vet bill of ~$1,800. Knowing that I had insurance coverage, I was able to focus on her getting well rather than worrying about the costs. What really impressed me was the speed of the claims service and how easy it was. Even though it was my first claim, Healthy Paws processed it in under a week (and most of the delay was my vet's office getting Maya's medical history faxed to them). I did not get any nagging questions from them and the statement of benefits was very clear as to what qualified and what didn't under my policy. The two times I called the company, I was always able to speak to a live person instead of those annoying automated systems that can never detect your words correctly. They were quick to respond via email too, and I would get a reply within the hour most of the time. My dog is now recovering fine from surgery and pretty much back to her playful old self. I highly recommend any pet parent to obtain pe

No Tricks Up their Sleeves

This is an honest, people friendly company. Embrace clearly explains its benefits and limitations so there are no bad suprises. Correspondance from Embrace always makes me feel like I'm valued as a client, not just an anonymous number. If all isn't clear, their telephone help is great, and payments are very fair, though I also wish there were more far reaching Wellness benefits. My dog was taken in for yearly exam, shots etc. We promptly received exactly what was promised. I wish that I'd started out with Embrace and barring too many changes, I'll stick with them.

Impressed with Embrace

I was unfamiliar with pet insurance before my puppy arrived so i started to do a little research. People told me good things about embrace but i was a bit skeptical having heard that some companies did not pay for typical pet visits such as shots and grooming, not the case with Embrace. They have reimbursed me for every visit so far and i am extremely impressed with Embraced, would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who needs pet insurance.

Pets Best is really The BEST

My Daisy is a 9 year old Jack Russell Terrier, she will be 10 in 2mos. I have never had any problems with her, but i have always had insurance since I have had her. I have been with Pets Best since 2009 and it has been the best decision I have made. The last two years with Daisy I have spent quite a lot of money, but with Pets Best, I got ALOT back. Let me give you 2 examples. Last year she had to have two masses removed, my total bill was $850. My co-pay is $100, and I got the rest of it back. Last week, Daisy was hospitalized, and my bill was over $1600! I just got notice that my reimbursement is $1,120. There are somethings that are not covered, but that is ok because it is understandable. They process claims quickly, and their representatives are always so nice. You can also view everything online. I would never leave Pets Best. Do yourself a favor, and choose Pets Best, you won't be jerked around.

Couldn't be happier...

My dog, Kula, had surgery for a torn knee ligament at the beginning of August. I had submitted a claim for previous X-rays and treatment and was very pleased with the hassle-free processing of the claim and short turnaround period for my reimbursement. Little did I know that Healthy Paws would surpass all expectations with my next claim-- the charges for the surgery itself. I faxed the claim form with the invoice and the surgeon's notes on Wednesday, August 23rd and the next day I received an email with an Explanation of Benefits informing me that my reimbursement was being mailed shortly! The next day! What insurance company processes claims that fast?!? I was in shock. And then I got a very sweet email this morning from Jen (yes, a real person sending a personalized email) asking how Kula is doing after her surgery. I have had negative experiences with another pet insurance company and expected to deal with the same headaches no matter what company I was with. I fully expected to get hassles and delays in response to each claim filed. Instead, I get prompt attention and phenomenal customer service. Healthy Paws is a refreshing anomaly and I will refer them to everyone I speak with about pet insurance. Thank you for making an otherwise difficult and emotional process of having major surgery and after-care so much less stressful.
