Amazing Insurance Company

I really wish insurance companies for us humans acted like this. My three-year-old dachshund just underwent emergency back surgery on the 14th of September. The total bill was 4,622.12 and I just got an email on the 7th informing me that they are paying 3,294.32, which is fantastic! (I have a 20% co-pay and a 500.00 deductable.) I love this company. Everyone is always courteous and professional. They send you an email to let you know that they received your claim form. They send another email if they think things are backed up a little, but seriously, 3 weeks is incredibly fast compared to my own insurance company. They even send another email to make sure you received your check. Who does that these days? Their customer service is incredible. I've heard nightmare stories about other companies. Embrace is truly the best insurance company out there. You will not be disappointed.

Still satisfied one year later - rate DECREASE

I have had Trupanion for almost one year and received an email today titled "Trupanion Premium Change Notification." Having read some other reviews about rate increases, I dreaded opening the message. I was completely surprised and delighted to see that it was notice of a 10% DECREASE in the premium. My cat is 2 years old and was diagnosed with severe stomatitis early in 2012. She underwent a complicated surgery to remove all of her teeth, and she has been great ever since. Trupanion has paid over $3000 in claims in 2012. They have paid promptly and according to the plan coverage. I did request pre-approval for the full-mouth extraction, and highly recommend requesting pre-approval if time is available to do so.

Very pleased with the handling of my claim.

My beautiful 9 month old frenchie had a severe elongated palate and needed surgery and his nares altered and Healthy Paws not only handled my claim quickly but also kept me it touch as to every aspect of the transaction. They also always asked how my boy was doing and sounded truly concerned. Nice touch!

Quick & Very Pleasant!

The customer service at this company is amazing! Everyone is extremely friendly and understanding. The only reason I didn't give them a 10/10 is because as previously mentioned the communication between they staff there seems to be a little disconnected. As Chris on 9/9/2012 mentioned, I would too get multiple emails and speak to different individuals who wouldn't be on the same page. However, once everything got sorted out, everyone was very helpful and quick and haven't had any issues since. I got a few services done for my 2 dogs and about 5 days after submitting my wellness claims, the money was deposited right back to my bank account (they're still working on an illness claim). They are also very speedy with their email responses and very informative. Their follow ups allow me to know every step of the process as well as know that they're taking care of my claims. I was REALLY worried about buying insurance for my dogs and worried I wouldn't be reimbursed or run into problems but I've been so pleasantly surprised. I absolutely recommend Embrace. If you're skeptical, call customer service and chat with them. I bet you'll change your mind. :)

They have your Best Friends back! :)

Our puppy endured three major surgeries by age by 15 months of age. Hip Displaysia and TPLO on both legs with complications. This was heartbreaking as well as a financial burden of over $16K to our family. She is still on the road to recovery. Very happy that Pet's Embrace reimbursed us for 80% of the those costs up to $10k a year.Thank's Pet's Embrace!

Great company

My bulldog had eye surgery with several follow-up visits and Embrace has been a life saver for us. They let us know up front that they were behind and they kept giving us updates so we would not have to worry that our claim was forgotten.

Healthy Paws Cares

We recently welcomed an adorable little Shi-poo puppy by the name of Bijou into our family . After having her spayed and experiencing sticker shock over the cost of medical care, we decided to purchase a health insurance plan to cover any mishaps or illnesses. We figured we would be paying premiums for several years before having to use the policy - Bijou is a baby, after all. But wouldn't you know it, at the tender age of 8 months, Bijou began to have digestive problems which would not clear up with the ordinary measures suggested. Blood work, x-rays, and ultrasounds were performed to try to find the cause of her troubles. While waiting for further testing, Bijou became very ill. She was playing Frisbee one minute and then unresponsive the next. A trip to the emergency hospital on a weekend was necessary. An overnight stay was ordered where she received IV's and steroids to help her bounce back to her frisky self. During our search for a health plan, we did lots of comparing and we decided to purchase a plan from Healthy Paws Insurance. I faxed bills for the diagnostic work that was performed on Bijou ($1,400). After requesting Bijou's brief medical records from the vet, Healthy Paws paid promptly exacting as promised in their plan. When I went to work from the ultrasound visit, I faxed the bill over to Healthy Paws and by the time I got home from work there was an e-mail advising me that all of her claims had already been processed! A Positive experince

We had a great family pet for 14 year and never had any medical issues. When he passed away we decided that our house was not a home with a dog, Enter Bentley a very active fun loving Labradoodle. Bentley decided that eating things not meant for puppy would be fun. It was not 3 days at the Vet surgery and a vet bill that almost put me in the hospital was all we needed to look into Pet Insurance. After carefully reviewing all the polices including the one my vet's office suggest I decided on Embrace They were the one that had the most value for the money spent. Sadly our puppy once again decided to eat something he should not and was a the vet again (no Surgery required) but the final bill was easier to handle knowing that Embrace had our back This was one of the better decision I have made as a pet owner.
