My dog has allergy issues - found a good plan for her
I have two dogs, one with major allergies issues, and decided to look into pet insurance for all of her medical expenses. When I went to the Spot Pet Insurance website, I was surprised at how easy it was to use their quote tool and how quickly I got a quote. Their plans were solid and I decided on one that worked for my dog. Highly recommend!

Frustrated, long time client.
I've only attempted to claim approx 3 times. The deductible for every hair on my dog is disappointing and frustrating. This was not clearly explained 10 years ago. I would not recommend you, and the vet who did recommend you, no longer shares that opinion. I shared the deductibles with them and they weren't impressed either.

Christmas nightmare 2019
Christmas Eve 2019 our part Husky /Beagle was very sick! We took him to Animal Hospital emergency! The staff at the animal hospital were great and before long we learned Zuma had a Bowel obstruction! Our deductible on the insurance was 700.00 which we paid, in hopes insurance would kick in. Then I had a call from Trupanion from the most lovely lady and sorry I can't remember her name but she was so nice and comforting in our very stressful time ! It was Christmas Eve and if we had not had insurance come through for us it would of been a very sad Christmas 2019! We managed to put the remainder trupanion didn't cover on visa which ended up being about 3000.00 ! The total cost was11,000.00 for bowel obstruction from animal hospital! Thank god I took the insurance for our Pet!I would very much recommend Trupanion Insurance! The lady that called me and assured me that night from Trupanion took a weight off my shoulders and we had a very Merry Christmas 2019 afterall!
