Great service, great rates and so HELPFUL

What can I say? Since becoming a cat owner by accident, falling in love with my cat only to have to put him down 2 years later was a heartbreak. It was on that sad day that my vet said "get insurance, get this insurance" and I made the call when I got my next cat, and my next cat. Since then I have been so impressed with the service quality and turn around times to claims. I have recommended your company to everyone I know who has a pet and I know I would never be without it again. It has made such a difference in my life and especially my two best friends, Miss Katie and Abbey. THANK YOU!

Fantastic

Embrace is the best pet insurance company out there. They are the ONLY insurance company that covers breed related issues. The ONLY one. So, you'd think they'd be much more expensive, right? Not at all. Their coverage cost is competitive with the other companies who do not cover nearly as much as Embrace does. Their staff is curteous, prompt, and always available to answer any of your questions. I've only had one claim so far, but it was covered as their literature said it would be. (I cannot say the same for my personal health insurance company.) I couldn't be more happier with Embrace.

Terrible Customer Service. Slow Claims Processing

I submitted the same claim 3 times to Trupanion. First by regular US mail. I never heard back. When I called to check, they had no record of the claim. Second time, the claim was faxed by the vet. Still no word. I called again and once again Trupanion claimed they never received it. The vet faxed it for the 3rd time and I finally received an e-mail that the claim was under review. It took a total of 9 months to get them to review the claim. Half way through the process, we stopped paying our premium because of the poor service. We honestly felt like we had been duped. When I finally heard back after the 3rd submission, they claimed they could not process it because we had not paid our premiums for the last few months, even though the INCIDENT HAD OCCURRED WHEN OUR PREMIUMS WERE UP TO DATE. I am still haggling with them over this. DO NOT USE TRUPANION.

Highly recommend Embrace!

I purchased the policy because in the past, I have endured having to lose a beloved pet due to lack of funds for an expensive treatment. When I rescued Scooby I decided to give this a try. I researched and decided on Embrace because of the favorable reviews. Along with major medical, I purchased a wellness rider and I have to say that I am thoroughly impressed with the service, the courteousness of the representatives and the efficiency of the entire process. Payment was promptly and accurately rendered. Follow-up was also prompt and greatly appreciated. I will definitely recommend Embrace and in fact, have already informed my vet that I was extremely pleased and would they recommend Embrace to their clients. Thank you!

Personable service

I switched from another pet insurance which sold out several times. Although they seemed "functional" they never provided the personable service I have received to date. The claims are handled very quickly and the e-mail conversations are wonderful. Very detailed and again, personable. They really seem to care how both you and your pet are doing. I love them, so does Pearl and Shiner, they say "thanks".

The Best!!

Our Standard Poodle is very healthy, but things do happen and with Pets Best Insurance we never have to worry about the cost. The online claim process is super easy and we usually get the claim process and money back within one week! We have tried other insurance companies in the past with our other dogs, but Pets Best is by far the best and most easy to work with.

PLEASED!!

This insurance has proved to be very good. When you call, the people are very friendly and helpful. They pay promptly and a significant amount. I feel like I am getting good coverage for the amount I pay monthly.

So relieved to have found Healthy Paws!

If you love your pet, get them the best insurance available. These guys are wonderful. No hassles, no hidden gimicks, AMAZING customer service--such a relief after my last experience with a horrible pet insurance company. They even offered me a discount because I am adopting a rescue puppy and adding him to my dog's insurance. I feel a lot of gratitude that this company exists and I am happy to support them by giving them my business. I recommend them to all my animal loving friends--and I warn my friends about my experience with this other company--do your homework and you will see--this is the insurance you want. LOVE HEALTHY PAWS!!!!

Stay Away from Petcare

I had coverage from Petcare since 2001. I paid all the premiums on time, did not complain about any increases. After my dog turned 14 in Dec 2010 she displayed some symptoms which were diagnosed as Pneumonia at an emergency clinic. The bills came out to approx $ 2100. No it was not covered because the policy did not cover this, eventhough there is coverage for infectious diseases, this did not qualify. She got the same symptomps again but the regular vet diagnosed it as a slipped/herniated disc. However this bill for another $ 800 was not covered either, since the Quick care plus plan that I had did not cover musculo-skeletal. After a few months of battling this crippling condition, which was treated with different treatments and medication, we had to put her down at the end of May 2011. PetCare said they'll cover $ 100 for Euthanasia (the Euthanasia bill was acutally $ 400). My suggestion to people considering pet insurance for young dogs, open a savings/investment account and use it when you come accross emergencies.

Highly recommended

My dog has had health insurance through several carriers and I find Petfirst Healthcare the best in their industry. The coverage is comprehensive and includes wellness care and even behavior training. Flea/tick preventive meds are included, dental care, spay/neutering. They have a courteous and well trained staff who are well versed on their product.
