Easy and Quick
The claim process is easy to do and I got my payment back within days. The few times I’ve called them they have been very friendly and helpful. It’s not usually a good day when you have to make a claim but with how simply it is to do, it doesn’t add to the stress and difficultly you’re already going through with your pet. I recommend them 100% to anyone looking for pet insurance!

Straightforward Claims Process and Excellent Customer Service
I recently took our 5 yr old Newfoundland to our vet for a variety of issues: his back leg trembled and he was not putting full weight on it, he had a small growth on his gums and he needed to have his teeth cleaned. I called Pets Best before going to the vet and the customer service rep told me that the vets report needed to be very detailed, including notes and codes for all procedures. Even the anaesthesia was broken down into how much time was allotted for each procedure because the teeth cleaning is not covered under Pets Best but the other procedures were. I easily uploaded the forms to my mobile app account and within a month they had reimbursed us for $1100 of the $2000 we paid.

You're happy to take our money and even happier to deny claims
Just like typical insurance companies who deny claims for stated "preexisting condition", even though it wasn't. You're very happy to take our money, but refuse to cover valid claims. Will be looking at replacing and/or firing your company in the very near future.

Great insurance
It is very easy to submit your claim. You just take a picture with your phone and send it through email. My puppy had a bad reaction to his vaccines, so I called the help line and they were absolutely amazing. It's very comforting knowing that I have someone to call anytime day or night if my puppy is not acting okay. Thank you!

Nationwide is pricey, but they deliver.
Our dog needed expensive radiation treatment for an infiltrative tumor. Nationwide paid it without question. It was great for the dog and us.

Easy Claim Filing - Quick Review and Reimbursement
Healthy Paws Pet Insurance has been great to work with when I found out our 7.5 year old Golden Retriever has cancer. Filing claims on the site is as simple as dragging and dropping my invoices onto the website. The claims are processed quickly. Due to the nature of the claims, the initial invoices required more extensive medical records for review, but once that was done, each claim after that has not required any additional paperwork. Dealing with our girl's cancer has been tough emotionally, but thankfully, the financial burden has been greatly reduced thanks to Healthy Paws.

They are very inconsistent with their coverage. My dog has cancer and while they are covering most of the treatment there have been several instances where they covered treatment one time but then didn't the next time. He has the same exam and tests done every 3 months per doctor's orders. About 50% of the time I have to file an appeal which usually takes several weeks so there are months between when an appeal is filled and the claim is paid. Thankfully I have money set aside to cover these things but don't expect speedy payouts and don't expect consistency.

We had such a great experience..
We had such a great experience with Figo! Our dog tore his CCL (ACL) and required TPLO surgery. His surgery was covered by Figo. We got confirmation that the claim was approved 2 days after I submitted it, and we received the payment 5 days later! Great customer service who answered any questions I had. So thankful we have FIGO!
