Excellent service!

My dog has been insured with 24PetWatch Pet Insurance for 5 years and I could not be more pleased. She was insured for the first 8 months with VPI and the first claim I filed was a total disaster and the customer service was terrible. We switched to PetCare (now called 24PetWatch) and this year have unfortunately had to make use of our insurance to the maximum extent. Our dog has severe Lyme disease with secondary kidney problems resulting in large bills for testing, bloodwork and hospital stays- and all of our claims have been handled thoroughly with friendly service. Note that our dog's diagnosis was in Jan/2012 and we are still combating this tick-born disease. She is doing great (seemingly cured), but the treatment is lengthy and expensive. In the past, I've questioned whether Pet Insurance was a waste of my money (my dog is healthy and not prone to illness or injury), but it has paid for itself 3x over in the last 9 months. I have ZERO complaints with my insurer. Please note: PetCare is the name of the Canadian Company. 24PetWatch Pet Insurance is the U.S. Company.

We have had PetsHealth Insurance for all of our dogs. Not so much for the normal vet expenses -- in fact I frequently don't think to file a claim for those -- but as an aid for any accident or extreme illnesses. We had such an incident recently when 14 year old Belle Lune developed Vestibular Syndrome while she was being at the Vet's. She was treated in those initial stages with IV fluids and with antibiotics. Belle is now home and as recovered as she is going to be. Still can't manage stairs, but otherwise navigates fairly well. I put in the claim along with all requested records and received an email that informed us that everything had been received and that we would be receiving a check soon. and it took about two weeks which is a vast improvement over previous claim settlements.

Amazing! Thank you so much!

NOW I know why it's named PETS BEST! Could also be called PET OWNERS BEST! I have had Pets Best insurance for 4 years for my dog Mickey, but had never filed a claim. I purchased it more for catastrophic illness than mundane problems. I contacted them re: price hike if I were to file a claim. I was afraid that the premium would go up quickly if I used the insurance, as it does with car insurance! (After 2 glass claims in 2 years, my premium was raised and my glass coverage dropped!) However, with the economy what it is, and my only income is my SS, a recent bill (which included blood work) was $480! Turned out to be just gastritis. I decided to file a claim...downloaded the online claim form, had the vet enter the diagnosis, and faxed it to Pets Best- not expecting much. A super quick and easy process. I received immediate comfirmatin that they received the claim and were processing it. Two days later, I got an email with an EOB showing a reimbursement of $304!! I had it deposited directly into my checking account. Now, I am 68 years old, usually find stuff like this to be terribly complicated and time consuming, but this could not have been easier! The service was fast and easy. Couldn't ask for more! I would recommend Pets Best to any dog or cat owner! I hope I never have to use their service again, but it's comforting to know that they are there to help if it becomes necessary!

Too Slow - Too Labor Intensive

Premiums have increased dramatically for my dog even with almost no claims. Service and claims were more prompt three years ago. Then the process is so manual it is obviously a contributor to the cost of the coverage. Should be able to fax email in claim and have payment processed more quickly and deposited automatically to a bank account.

Waste of money

Again, paid all they could under a wellness claim stating I requested a snap test as part of her annual exam at an Emergency Clinic she was taken to on a Sunday afternoon for severve vomitting. The test was used as diagnostic. They offered to call the vet to verify I did not requested it as wellness, but then claimed the vet was out for a month. These people do everything they can to deny claims or pay them under wellness. Posted my frustration on FB, Laura's repsonse was I was saving $52 by pre-paying for my wellness policy....not if they pay emergency claims under wellness! Also had an attorney bash me on FB defending Embrace, though no fault of Embrace, not exactly good practice.

Caring, efficient, prompt and hassle-free!

Our puppy (7 months old)had to go to urgent care for a troubling and rather mysterious stomach emergency, with a follow-up at our vet shortly thereafter...the bills quickly added up to almost $1700. The claims paperwork (accessed online with our account info already printed on the form) was submitted by the hospital and our vet, and within a week we received our claim reimbursement check. We received personal e-mails from Healthy Paws staff referring to our puppy by name - and follow-ups asking how she was doing (with a request for a picture). The entire process was VERY easy! Healthy Paws is the BEST!P.S. Our puppy is back to her healthy and very lively self again!

The Rolls-Royce of Pet Insurance

I've been with Embrace for over 2 years and tell every pet owner I know how great they are. We've had a few medical scares but nothing serious yet. It's comforting to know if something serious does happen we're covered. I've had Embrace's wellness coverage since day 1 and it's awesome. It's forced me to become a better pet parent and I've saved money every year on routine care. I would suggest anybody looking for a company to call Embrace and you'll know right away how great they're service is.
