Pet insurance allows you the leeway to make decisions about your pet's health needs based on what is best for your pet, not just on what you have in your bank account. We've always said we never want to give up on a pet or deny care simply because of the expense.And, yes, like human insurance they don't pay everything, but for a reasonable monthly fee, they give you backup and peace of mind. If I didn't have Healthy Paws Pet Insurance my dog would not be alive. Not only did my dog have Bone Cancer and had to have a front limb amputation to remove the cancer which was costly 6 months later he had to have an emergency GDV and Gastropexy for Bloat which is a fatal condition that needs immediate surgery. I paid well over $10,000 in surgery and emergency costs so far and was reimbursed immediately from Healthy Paws and with my 90% reimbursement rate (and I truly received 90% reimbursement) you can do the math. They care about my pet and are the best health insurance for pets. I will always insure my pets with Healthy Paws and I hope you do too! You never know when a seemingly healthy dog will have an emergency or something so random like cancer. I am so grateful to have another day with my best friend!!

Excellent service. We love our 'lemon' of a dog (seems to always have something going on). HP has been so great--exceptionally easy to work with through claims process and claim disbursements.

Read your ins policy. Angus had an hemangioma which was not properly treated after his surgery which left us with multiple vet visits till it became an emergency vet visit. VPI ins helped pay most of the caim. Angus was only 4 years old. He is just fine now. Thanks VPI.
