Grateful

We are grateful that the ASPCA was willing to cover our pug as other companies had turned him down. It is good to know that he is covered in case of catastrophe!

I had a rough start but an excellent ending

I bought Embrace insurance because of the reviews from their customers. The feedback is postive about the insurance, the coverage and customer service. I felt really confident when I purchased the insurance, I found security that my dog would be okay no matter how small or large amount of medical care he needed. Unfortunately I neeeded a large amount of care within the first 5 months after my dog got ran over by a car. Leaving out tons a detail, my claim was first denied than approved. After a little go around, I felt the Embrace Rep. really did care about my dog receiving care. I spoke to several customer care and all where pretty polite even when I was falling apart crying on the phone about my dog's accident. Once the claim was approved I was relieved that my dog could be saved because I could afford to give him the medical care he needed. Without Embrace insurance, I would have no other choice but to put my dog down. Therefore I am thankful for the customer care rep. who worked with me through this hard time. Every since this accident happened, I tell everyone when I am in the vet( alot since the accident) about Embrace, even though the vet pushes another insurance. When I talk to other pet owners I ask them if they have pet insurance, and stress the importance of having them and how Embrace is an idea insurance. Outstanding

I cannot tell you how impressed I have been with 24PetWatch as far as their customer service representatives (professional, compassionate, friendly and extremely well-informed on the scope of service that the company provides), the immediate response to claim form submission (via an automated phone call) and quick reimbursement turnaround after an adjuster checks the claim. Several years ago, I had VPI, but the premiums went up and teeth cleaning was excluded (I'm fastidious about both my cats' teeth). My own health insurance should be as great as my choice for my cats!!!

Great Company So Far!

We've had Healthy Paws for about 3.5 months and have submitted two claims. They've responded quickly, and have covered exactly what they said they'd cover. I've heard so many horror stories about pet insurance, but this company is a gem (so far). We have a high energy, but very sweet Doberman puppy (all 81 pounds of her), and this insurance gives us some sense of security. I love the yearly deductible, rather than the "per incident" deductible of many insurance companies. We have a $250 deductible and 90% coverage policy. It doesn't cover office visits or the charges for the office visit of a major claim. We've had three visits since buying the policy. The first visit for abrasions applied the prescription to the deductible. The second didn't apply, since it was only an office visit. We didn't even submit it. Our third visit was for a severe toe fracture. This one put us over the deductible. They use the actual vet charges to compute the claim. In less than a day, they processed the claim, and a check is in the mail. Submitting claims by email is very convenient, as well as fast! They respond (automatically) after submitting the claim. The next day they respond personally with the results of the claim. And, they express an attitude of care.

Always kept informed

I appreciate the "Claims Embracers" emails and always being kept informed during the processing of the claim. I am very happy about that and very comfortable with the turn-around time of claims submitted.

Embrace is Great

My first experience with pet insurance has been with Embrace. I was very hesitant about signing up for it, thinking that it would be a waste of time and money. I assumed that any pet insurance company would say that they would cover something, but when it came down to it, they would find a loophole to not pay. Not Embrace. Our dog, who is only 3 years old, unexpectantly started having problems with her legs. Come to find out, she needed surgery on both of her knees. The Embrace staff could not have been nicer or more efficient. They helped us through the whole claims process and in the end, they paid everything that they said they would. I would recommend Embrace to anyone that would do anything for their pet. For myself, I would never be without pet insurance again bewcause I wqould do anything for my dog's health.

Works Pretty Well

I've had the insurance for two years now for two of our dogs. I've found the service to be pretty good. I never like finding they will not cover the full amount I've been charged by our vet, but they've always covered most, if not all, of the charge. The turnaround time on claims being submitted is generally good, but has sometimes been over two months. That's only occured when they had to get more info from the vet and my vet has been slow to comply so not really the insurer's fault. I usually call if it's been too long and I've always been met with helpful service.

Excellent

I am impressed with Trupanion, fast response and payment, emails to tell me whats going on at each stage.Company seems to really care about your pets.Was with Petcare before, slow to pay limits, are not high enough, even with the top policy I had.Keep it up Trupanion.
