This insurance allowed me to give my dog the treatment she needed when she ate ibuprofen tablets. She needed to be hospitalized and on liquids for 3 days, and I truly believe she would have had serious kidney problems had she not received this expensive treatment. Embrace reimbursed me within a week of submitting my claim and they are always extremely helpful when I need to call. I gave them a 9 because I just don't give 10s, no other reason.

Got two wellness shots for my pet dog on 5/1. Veterinarian's office faxed claim the same day. Notified on 5/4 by email that Embrace had paid the claim and deposited the refund to my checking account. Everything was very promptly processed.

My Border Collie mix developed severe glaucoma and required surgery in both eyes. The Embrace staff was always helpful and courteous, I sent my first claims, relatively small ones for the local diagnosis and care, by mail. The review took several days, but i was able to keep track of it online. The surgery bill was faxed, and I was shortly notified of the direct deposit option. The smaller check arrived by mail, and the direct deposit was made a couple of days later. I received an e-mail to make sure that the mailed check had arrived. The fact that insurance covered the major expenses greatly eased the stress of her difficult treatment. She is the first dog I have ever insured, but if I get another, it will also be covered by Embrace. My only problem with the company is that I cannot upgrade her policy without making the glaucoma pre-existing, which of course I won't do.

Healthy Paws is an excellent company to insure your pet. It is easy to file a claim using your camera phone and claims are usually processed and checks in the mail within a week.I have not had any problems with Healthy Paws and would highly recommend it to anyone seeking pet health insurance.

Patches, our "Lovable Labradoodle" joined our family when she was 3 months old. Something told me I should have medical insurance for this very expensive bundle of fluff and love. They process claims faster than any insurance company I've ever worked with, keep me well informed of the progress and before I know it I have a check in the mail. When I adopted my cat, she started ingesting foreign objects and getting sick a lot. I had 300$ vet visits each time I went for X-rays, shots and evaluation with the Dr. Finally, after the 4th time I'd had a enough and knew I needed some pet insurance. I found VPI through my vet office. Best decision I ever made. I have the Major Medical plan and each time I need to take my cat in, I just pay for the services up front and then a few weeks later I get a reimbursement check for what is covered. which is almost everything that was provided by the vet. Each year my costs are covered and claims are easy to send in and I have NO issues with the company denying claims or giving me issues of what services were provided. I will NEVER go with anyone else for my pet insurance because these are the best people around that take care of your wallet and your pet.
