The vet staff actually completed their portion of the claim form incorrectly. I realized this, and sent an email to Embrace. The next day I was emailed back, my claim was approved, and shortly afterwards I received a check in the mail. We are so happy we have pet insurance for our three dogs. We rescued a greyhound this year, and she had taken full use of it! We would be lost without this coverage.

This is our first time with a Pet Insurance Policy and we have been pleased with the overall claim process and communication regarding progress of claim. Although the first claim we submitted took longer than expected (6 weeks, the subsequent claims have been completed in 3-4 weeks without any complications.

This is the first time we had gotten pet insurrance as my vet had recomended that we get it due to the breed of dog, cane corso. 2 years later, she developed a limp and required surgery. I contacted Trupanion and was ready to do a verbal battle as I would not have been able to pay the $3000 bill for the surgery. I was amazed at the lady whom I had spoken to. She quickly eased my mind and told me what I needed to do with my vet office so that they may be paid directly. I was thrilled!!!! My claim was processed quickly and I would recomend Trupanion to anyone who loves their pets the way I love mine!!!

I thought when i had my dog spaded, the insurance would cover it. Wrong,it was lumped in with wellness care.I think that should fall under surgical cost? O that's right only you put $200 out and $500 i paid thats nice profit 300 bucks. Sorry for not reading fine print.

My cat Tiger Lilly had developed limp, and at the early age of 7, was beginning to slow down, sleep a lot, and her temperament had worsened. The vet took x-rays which show a gap in the joint on one of her front elbows. This was probably caused by an old injury or could be genetic. Tiger’s check-up, x-rays, anesthesia and blood work were all covered by my Embrace Pet Insurance. My vet immediately put Tiger on a stringent diet to lose about a pound or two. Tiger is on fish oil now, as well as glucosamine treats to help the inflammation go down around the joint. Her personality has improved, and she is more active after losing weight. My puppy has had both of his knees replaced and trupanion is a great insurance to have. They were very quick with the reembursement, and pre approval process I highly recommend them to everyone with out them i would not been able to afford his surgeries and probably would have had to put him to sleep
