Its one of the best

We had our fur babies on Trupanion for over 4 years now. When doing my research into pet insurance, I found this one (Trupanion) to be the best, as they offered a 0 deductible, along with other % of deductibles and for the best price. They also get your re-reimbursement check back to you in a timely fashion.

Embrace has been as good as my Golden

Gracie my Golden retriever has had a few different issues over the last several months that have been treated. Every visit I was sure to have my vet fax the info into Embrace for filing. I always received an immediate response from Embrace and with the wonderful portal they provide I was able to see the process. Once my deductible was reached my claims have been paid very promptly. I have been a customer for 5 years and have had good experience with Embrace.

from loving it to feeling dread filing a claim

I got pet insurance when we got our pug puppy. She has been insured for like 9 or so months and she just turned 1. She has seen the vet many times. Took a little while to diagnose her with Demodex. She has been treated for this problem for 7 months now. The first day we had her we took her to be checked out by our vet. She had yeast in her ears so they now find any dermatological condition pre existing based on that. And that is fine with me. I understand how insurance works. One of our claims got partially denied because they felt part of her problem was dermatological. We filed an appeal and they said no it's not dermatological its secondary infection to her Demodex. They are usually good at paying claims fast so I know when there is a problem. It stays pending for a week or so. I have to call embrace and they always say. "We are waiting for doctors notes" I always say I have them and I submit them since the specialist is slow to get back to them. Would a courtesy email hurt to keep a customer up to date. Especially since I had the documents they needed every time!!! Then I get the same determination partially covered. Partially not due to dermatologivsl condition. For literally the same problem, same tests, and same medication the appeals adjuster approved, and other claims have been approved. As a customer I can not request a redetermination. The provider has to write something. Today was literally the 4th time this has happened. It is very annoying that they are an insurance company. How can they not review previous claims for the same exact thing that were paid and previous appeals that overturned the same exact wording they are using. Needles to say I think they need a better system or way to review cases that have a chronic condition. This I find is very poor claim management on their part. Luckily the condition has finally almost cleared and hopefully will not have to deal with so many claims soon. To me there is no reason to cover and antibiotic and the first refill but not the second refill. I give them a low rating based on the poor management of processing claims for chronic conditions. Also they should notify customer when they need more info not just the doctor.

Ease our worries, that's what you do!

Prior to the surgery, there were several tests conducted - various lab work (CDC, urinalysis), ultrasound, biopsy - and of-course, prescription medication. The surgery was a major one; Jack is now on recovery phase. We are so grateful to Pets Best for helping ease *some* of the worries involved in this experience. Purchasing Jack's Pets Best insurance policy is one of the best investment decisions, if not the best one, I've made in the past three years. Thank you for standing by your product and for serving your customers well. Jack and his family are grateful to you.

Execelent

Our 4 year old chocolate started wheezing whenever he exercised t all. Our vet checked her out and discovered she had bad tonsils (who knew dogs have tonsils?) we tried a course of antibiotics to no avail. She had to have her tonsil removed. She has always been a really healthy dog and now she is again but we were very happy to have insurance for this unexpected and serious illness..

Thank you for helping me get the best care!

Healthy Paws Pet Insurance is the absolute best option for being able to care for my dogs in the best possible manner. My 9 year old Irish Wolfhound, Simon, had a suspicious mass on his back and after consulting with a veterinary surgeon, it was decided to biopsy the mass in addition to doing an ultrasound and CT scan. Those tests were done to rule out any cancer and to give us a road map should the pathology report come back positive. Simon's biopsy came back negative but we decided to take the mass off because it was continuing to grow and would eventually interfere with several important body systems. Thank goodness that I was able to do all the testing necessary (thanks to Healthy Paws) and when the mass was sent to pathology the report came back as a sarcoma. Had I not had Healthy Paws insurance I may not have been able to do the required testing and ultimate surgery to insure the best possible result for Simon. Healthy Paws is wonderful about processing the claims within days of receiving the reports from the veterinary hospital. With expensive procedures the credit card gets charged up quickly and I can always count on Healthy Paws to pay the claim within days of the hospital submitting it. They also keep me updated on the status of the claim processing and the distribution of the reimbursement check. They are always pleasant to deal with and always available to answer questions. I have recommended this company to many people and will continue to do so. Thank you Healthy Paws for allowing me to get the best care possible for my animals!

Thank Goodness for Pet Insurance

I really wish human health insurance claims were as easy and quick as Embrace Pet Insurance! You always get to speak to a real person who answers the phone! We have an expensive accident prone dog who ate a soft/stuffed snowman toy and then broke a toe - Neither were cheap vet visits. Thank You Embrace for your fast turnaround on payment. I totally recommend you to friends.

Great Comminication!

After having used another pet insurance company with our last dog, we decided to try Embrace with our new puppy. We liked what the plan offered and chose to go with their highest coverage plan. So far, it has been great. Vet visits have been easily submitted and they are very good about letting you know the process along the way. While you might think the monthly premiums are a little higher than competitors, please read the fine print. With a new puppy, you want to make sure it's taken care of for a very long time. Highly recommend!
