Great insurance
We love the support of having insurance on our dogs. In the few instances we have had a claim the process has been easy and the pay out prompt and consistent with the terms of our policy.

Very good explanation of claim and benefits coveri
Our puppy was hospitalized for acute vomiting and dehydration . Embrace covered most of the items in the claim and gave us a very clear explanation of how they determined the amount. We did have to wait a while for the claim to be processed but Embrace stayed in email contact with us during that time.

ok, but took long to get the money
I mailed all of the claims into the address. The company claimed that they were not received. I had to call, and then pay for faxing the forms. The faxing came to over $27.00. The i DID GET THE MONEY. But the exams that were related to the condition were not covered.

Dependable coverage and wonderful customer service
Embrace has been responsive and very dependable in covering costs for my dog. I would highly recommend the company for its great customer service and for their reasonable consideration of medical costs. After my dog broke the biggest tooth in his mouth, he had the root exposed and was in a lot of pain. Our vet said he could extract the tooth or we could go to a veterinary dentist who could possible save the tooth. That's what we did, and after a root canal, my dog was back to his playful, happy self. Although this was not a life-thretening emergency, it was so reassuring to know that I could provide the medical care my dog needed with Embrace covering 90% of the cost. I feel so relieved to know that if an emergencuy or unexpected illness happens, my dog will be able to receive the proper medical care he might need.

Annual Premium Update
It's that time of year again, the Annual Premium Update and an increase of my premiums - OR SO I THOUGHT, when I got the e-mail. To my surprise, when I opened the e-mail - ready for the bad news of a rate increase, I was more than pleasantly surprised to see that my MONTHLY PREMIUMS WENT DOWN!!! Thank you, Trupanion!! I was ready to get mad and threaten to change carriers (I can't take a rate increase EVERY YEAR!) until I opened my e-mail!!
Trupanion is true to their word - they compare premiums with other carriers and then offer the lowest rate.
I've never needed to file a claim and I hope I never have to, but I believe that if that day ever comes, Trupanion will be there for me - and my Pug.

Very quick at processing claims.
Unfortunatley I've had to lean on Trupanion a couple of times and all I can say is that their call in center has wonderfully helpful staff, they process claims within a couple of weeks and their website tools for claim status and submission are very easy to use.

Captain ear hematoma
I have an 8 year old Weimaraner named Captain. He developed a hematoma in his right ear. I took him to the vets and surgery was recommended. They said it would take 6 weeks to heal. It was quite a long 6 weeks,he was bandaged and very uncomfortable throughout his healing time. He had to be prevented from shaking his ear. The whole process was expensive and agravating! The only bonus was that Trupanion kept up with his dignosis and charges and notified me of everything. After it was over, I was reimbursed all monies over my deductable. It was simple and fast with hardly any effort on my part. I would recomend Trupanion to anyone with a pet because life will throw you a curve when you least expect or can afford it.

Fast and Courteous
My dog, Stubbie, is approaching "middle" age so I decided it would be a good time to insure him. He ruptured his CCL about a month after insuring him. We are about 8 weeks out of surgery and I received a reimbursing check weeks ago. It was so fast! Everyone over there was so nice every time I called and they were so efficient with reviewing his claim. I was been a veterinary technician for 7 years and am now in my second year of veterinary school and will definitely be recommending this company to everyone.

Wellness Claim & Illness Claim (Fleas)
I recently had both of my Pomeranian dogs treated at a local veterinary clinic. Wellness visit (annual physical + 2 shots) for Spanky and an illness claim (fleas) on Little Rascal. Both claims were processed and paid promptly. Emails from Embrace kept me informed of the status of both claims. I have used Embrace to insure both of my dogs for over three years and have been very happy with the excellent service and coverage they provide for my pets.
