Brownie Claims
My kitty had to have a follow up visit this year and then we had an emergency visit. Thankfully, my Brownie is ok and healthy again. I was able to easily glide through the claims process. Thankful for Trupanion
We are so thankful to trupanion for their true to word policies! Our boy has had a few bad runs with .....cancer ... the flesh eating bacteria...... torn knees ,allergies to name a few Trupanion has been there......shoulder to shoulder with us as we did what we could to save our pets life and still ensure a good quality of life for him after the healing was done They repay with in a few days Thank you thank you Trupanion keep up the good work Puppy kisses from Tank ❤️❤️

Wonderfully surprised at the kindness towards my pet.
I was wonderfully surprised to receive an email after making a claim for my Boston’s surgery from Healthy Paws simply to ask how Princes Lea is doing after her surgery. I have always had great service with small claims, but this was a big decision on our part to have the surgery done. And after doing so I couldn’t be more pleased with the time frame in reviving my money and in knowing that Lea is truly cared for. Thank you Healthy Paws

Easy to use website
Easy to use website, rapid reimbursement for claims so far. I’ve only submitted claims for routine vaccinations at this point, and hope I don’t need to actually use the insurance, but I’m glad that we have the coverage. I researched several companies, and this seemed to be the best option. Happy with the choice so far.

No communication and lack of effort to move claim to closure.
In the process of filing my first claim with Trupanion. I submitted all of my records and bills about 2 weeks ago. They are quick to deny the claims that aren't eligible but are slow to process your possibly eligible claims and there is no communication about the status. I spoke with the representative via live chat who informed me that it can take 4-6 weeks to process a claim, they do not call the vet to obtain records because it is their 'busy season', and they do not send any communication to you about the status unless there is an issue. I called my vet to get the necessary records and it took all of 5 minutes where as I have no clue how long Trupanion has been waiting around and just delaying my claim. **The support team reached out to me after my review and assigned my claim to a specialist. The service thus far with the specialist has been great. I wish I had this experience from the beginning. Updated to 4 stars from 2.
