Great pet insurance company

When our beloved golden suddenly became sick with two bleeding cancer masses we rushed him to our emergency vet hospital. Over the course of the next 10 days he underwent surgery, a 5 day stay at the hospital, return visits and medication. We were able to give him the best treatment possible thanks to our pet insurance provided by Healthy Paws. We were reimbursed within days of our claims being filed and were contacted multiple times just to check in on Chesster. Thank you Healthy Paws!

EXCELLENT SERVICE

I rescued a much older dog three months ago. When I picked him up from the rescue, he had no known health issues or pre-existing conditions other than bad joints. That said, within one week of having him, we were at the ER and then vet for a tick borne illness that has taken us months to treat. He also has a weak stomach lining but to get to the bottom of both of those issues, we had numerous vet visits and costs associated with it. Trupanion was offered to me the day I rescued my dog and to be honest, I wasn't sure what to expect of it. I am so grateful they approached me from day one and that I had it when I did. It has saved me a lot financially but a lot more importantly, has put me at ease about finding him the best care. lastly, their customer service is excellent. They always pick up the phone, answer my questions quickly and confidently and they respond back to your claims within one week.

A must have

Ugo has been battling allergies since he was very young. Healthy paws has made it less of a strain making sure he gets the proper treatment to get on a great path for a long healthy itch free life. Filing a claim is super easy and their response time is fast and impressive. Will get insurance for all of my future fur babies

My healthy dog with the help of Healthy Paws.

I just had a surprise sickness with one of our dogs thatwas rather expensive & once we had all the paper work sent to Healthy Paw because it was his first claim they processed the claim pretty fast, deducted the deductible & paid the 90% as advertised I can not complain they did what they said.

Repaired other knee/torn ACL

Our rescue dog Scruff tore his ACL on his right knee the 1st year we had him. HP processed he's claims fast and emailed to check on his progress. 3 years later, just as our vet predicted, Scruff tore his left ACL. He had suregery last week and is doing fine, even with the cone of shame. Thanks for such fast and terrific customer service.

Completely Satisfied and Happy Customer

I highly recommend Healthy Paws pet insurance. I have had nothing but great experiences with Healthy Paws. Most recently, our pup got into some trail mix last weekend and had an extended stay at the hospital (fortunately, she's recovered!). Throughout the ordeal I was in frequent touch with Healthy Paws. They were incredibly responsive and helpful. I submitted my claims and received a claim response within a day or two. Everything was covered as expected (with the exception of the initial emergency room exam cost). I could not be happier with how the claims were dealt with. I am extremely pleased with their customer service--it was so easy and quick to contact an actual representative who helped answer my questions. No long recordings, no long waits. A very happy customer!

First Claim--Wellness

I recently adopted a cat and decided to insure her. I chose Embrace based on online reviews, plus they have a great wellness plan, which I purchased. I took my new cat to the vet for her vaccines and submitted the claim last Thursday via fax. I received an email that the fax was received and that I would hear something in 5-10 business days. It's now Monday and I just received an email that my reimbursement check is coming to me today. I'm impressed with the level of communication and the timeliness of communication. Already glad I decided to go with Embrace.

Terrible! Don't buy this insurance

We have had our dog since July 2012. She has been under the care of the same vet since the day we adopted her. She blew her ACL at 9 months old. Both her primary treating vet and the surgeon who repaired the knee said over and over again that this was an accident and not a pre-existing condition. Our vet contacted Embrace on multiple occasions and told them the same. Embrace denied the claim across the board. Earlier this month the same dog had a UTI. It was her second one in a year. Under Embrace's policy, this too was considered a pre-exiting condition. Again, claim denied. The only thing they have not denied is my automatic payment to a worthless policy every month! Now we're screwed for getting new coverage. BUYER BEWARE!!!! DO NOT BUY THIS CRAPPY INSURANCE unless you like throwing money into a black hole! If you don't believe me, read the below which was taken directly from their denial e-mail to me. A snippet of their denial letter: I have reviewed Gabby's claim along with your pet insurance policy and based upon that review, I am sorry to inform you that this claim is not covered under your policy. Gabby's medical history indicates that she had signs of polyuria (i.e. increased urination) on 5/13/2013, which was prior to the start of your policy coverage. As such, this initiated an exclusion to coverage for polyuria (and any related conditions - such as urinary tract infections). It is a temporary exclusion (as we deem something like polyur
