Buyer Beware.

Pet Watch sure takes their monthly premium timely; but they do not reimburse in timely manner. I am "STILL WAITING" for reimbursement on claim submitted JUNE 3, 2014. Today I spoke with customer service, I'm told I should have the check by July 22, 2014. "If so" that is 7 weeks wait for reimbursement. That is much to long to wait. Have checked with friends who have other Pet Insurance, They have never waited this long for their check. I continued this insurance given at the time of adoption. The Humane society should be made aware of this long wait for reimbursement + the rising costs each year. I feel that if Canada were not involved, the reimbursement wait time would be much shorter. I love my pet dearly and may he live a long healthy life, but in the future if the need for other pet insurance should arise, I most certainly would shop elsewhere. Reading other reviews submitted re 24Pet Watch, many others are having this same problem. This is important factor; ppl pay for the service and wait forever to get their money back. This is not good customer (relation) service. Word of mouth spreads very quickly.

Claims are always processed promptly and fairly.

We have a middle aged Dane who is showing spinal issues. At the recommendation of the neurologist we had an MRI performed which, happily, eliminated the most serious possibilities. Embrace paid a significant fraction of the cost. We have two Great Danes currently insured by Embrace and also had previous Danes covered. We have always been highly satisfied by their coverage and professional service. Our vet remarked on a previous claim that the percent paid was surprisingly generous, so we are not alone in our recognition of Embrace

GREAT SERVICE WITHOUT HASSLES

I had my doubts when I first enrolled Talullah (my cat) two years ago but my doubts were washed away after my first claim. Talullah recently was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor in her mouth and had to have all but 2 teeth extracted. I have submitted 4 claims so far for Talullah and have received my reimbursements within two weeks of my claims. I've spoken with a representative a couple of times with questions and each time, the rep was courteous, knowledgeable, and voiced compassion and concern for Talullah. Talullah is on the road to recovery and so far, there has been no reoccurence of the tumor. Talullah would not be alive today if it were not for ASPCA Pet Insurance. I could never had afforded the surgery and aftercare necessary to keep her alive and well. The small monthly fee is well worth the peace of mind ASPCA Pet Health Insurance offers. Thank you ASPCA Pet Health Insurance and your caring staff!

Not only are Embrace's rates and coverage the best in the business, but the customer service staff has always been extremely patient, courteous, and prompt with explanations and payments on claims. They don't make up reasons to deny claims.

Claim Approved

My Beagle had an condition that Embrace said was pre-existing and would not cover. I went back and forth with Embrace. With great help from my vet writing letters and explaining her notes she requested that Embrace cover her treatment. This condition was not pre-existing. The underwriters accepted the appeal and approved the coverage. If you believe you should be covered for a condition and it is not pre-existing, you should fight for it.

Very helpful

My dog has a tendency towards stomach issues and eating strange things. She needed and emergency visit to the vet for a very rough stomach illness. ASPCA pet insurance paid for everything (minus deductible). My only complaint is my vet's office had to send the paperwork several times over 2-3 weeks because ASPCA was not able to receive it for some reason. This delayed my claim but they expedited it as soon as they were able to receive the papers they needed.

Worst insurance company, terrible customer service

I have never been so disappointed in an insurance company as I am with pet first insurance. I have a Sheba Inu she has been every healthy until about a year ago had a CCL and lucating patella had to have surgery cost was $1500.00. I had to really aright to even get the insurance to pay $300.00. The policy has $1000.00 per year. Not she got ill with an acute illness just a few days before a new policy turned over and a follow up visit has been denied. Seriously she only has $1000.00 per year.I really give this insurance a big fat 0. Do not get this insurance.

We are so thankful we found Healthy Paws

We purchased other insurance for our new puppy after internet search before we discovered Healthy Paws and switched our coverage within the first year and are so glad we did. I never wanted the cost of a procedure to be a factor in making hard choices about care in an emergency or illness. Our golden doodle has received the best of care at MSPCA Angell Memorial and recently had a Mast cell tumor that was infringing on his eye removed. I repeatedly am amazed at how caring and quickly claims are processed. I received reimbursement within 3 days of submission of the latest claim.
