Having Embrace pet insurance has been very helpful in managing large vet expenses for my dog. Their customer service has been great and their coverage of claims has been fair and without any surprises.

We have a 3 year old yellow lab mix rescue. She has had insurance since we got her at about 2 months old and immediately enrolled her in the Embrace Insurance before she had any pre-existing conditions. She is very healthy, but has developed incontinence from being spayed. This is an ongoing problem which she will take medication for the rest of her life. We haven't needed to use the insurance much, but it sure will come in handy now. We have had Embrace for our last 2 dogs and have been very happy with it. They pay promptly and as long as it isn't a pre-existing condition, are very fair. I like that there is no set schedule for what will be covered as with some pet insurance. I have recommended this insurance to many of my friends and will always have it for my dogs.

First time puppy owners we heard 50/50 reviews from friends about whether to go with the pet insurance route, but we are VERY glad we did. Several injuries and growing pain treatments for our lady boxer proved the insurance well worth it.

We rescued the skinniest little dog you've ever seen in your life and had no idea what her history was or what future problems she might encounter. So we got her ASPCA pet insurance. We're so grateful that we did, we've had a few times she gotten sick and one trip to the emergency vet, that scared us pretty bad. But, we knew we wouldn't have to make the hard decision of loosing our pet because we couldn't afford treatment since we had pet insurance. We even have the level that covers her yearly check ups.

My husband and I have 3 fur babies, Pekoe is our lil boy cat. He wandered into our garage and our hearts one night and we fell in love with him immediately. We were horrified to discover that he had a "lesion" inside his mouth, if you have a cat you know they aren't real willing to let you see inside their mouths, it was discovered by his vet during his yearly checkup. The vet said he must be in pain, although he didn't really have any way of letting us know. The vet determined that all but 2 canines would have to be pulled due to severe dental disease. The cost would be around $1000.00. We submitted the bill to Healthy Paws, but did not have an exam during the past 30 days, or the 15 day waiting period, Haley went through all of his vet records and was able to pay our claim after finding that he wasn't quite as old as originally thought. If she had not gone the extra mile, we would have missed having the claim paid by 4 days.........we were overjoyed at the news, and the great customer service we received from Healthy Paws! They are for real you guys, this was a totally unexpected very large bill for my family and even though we would have found the money somewhere, it was a godsend to have the claim paid instead. Anytime I have had to submit a claim, I found the website easy to navigate, customer service incredibly helpful and courteous and the turn around time for a claim impressive.

Nationwide is definitely on our puppy Bently’s side! We are new pet parents and learned the hard way that we should have gotten Nationwide as soon as we picked up our puppy. That mistake unfortunately cost us $10,000 in emergency bills. Thankfully, when Bently broke his leg in April we were covered by Nationwide Pet’s Whole Pet with Wellness plan which covered 90% of the surgery costs. Everyone we’ve spoken with at Nationwide Pet has been a terrific help. And our claim status was easy to follow online. We are very pleased with our Nationwide Pet experience and have been recommending this coverage to everyone we know that has a pet! Thank you so much for the terrific experience! In 2014, my canine pal Pancho was diagnosed with incurable Cushing's disease, other wise known as pituitary dependent hypercortisolism. The disease causes an over production of the hormone cortisol. Dogs lose body hair and they become voracious eaters and are prone to being overweight. If untreated the prognosis is an early death. Cushing's is a disease that last for the lifetime of the dog, whether treated or not. Thankfully, we had Embrace Pet Insurance. The Embracers were sympathetic to the cause and have paid every vet bill and have picked up the costs of expensive medications. Without Embrace, Pancho's life have been far shorter. Now, although he is constantly hungry, Pancho's body hair has regrown and he is living a normal dog life.

So glad we got Trupanion insurance for our puppy! She ended up being very sick at a very young age needless to say our vet bills seemed endless! Very scary receiving bill after bill for care that we needed in order to keep our very young puppy alive. Trupanion was definitely there every step of the way and helped us pay up most of our bills. Trupanion definitely hold true to their word they paid 90% of our bills thankfully because up to now we have had at leave $3000 in medical expenses for our puppy. I would absolutely urge anyone to get insurance for their puppy you never know what could happen! I couldn't imagine not having this safety net to keep our minds at ease!
