Nationwide is great!
Nationwide is great! Gives me peace of mind knowing Mick's is taken care of no matter what. Easy to file claims and fast payout.

This year insurance has been a wash; other years at a loss.
the cost of insurance has gone from $42 per month to over $100 per month in 3 years. Most things are not covered, but that is hard to tell with the copious amounts of exclusions listed, along with wording your vet may not use. Not sure if it's worth continuing.

Great Pet Insurance
I don't know what I would have done without my Nationwide Wellness Insurance after a tree went through my house and destroyed. Both of my dogs were traumatized and the vet bills started rising rapidly trying to get them back to being healthy. I wish my Maltipoo, who was a rescue, had this insurance but it was too expensive to put her on it. The trauma threw Sophie's system out of whack, her food had to be changed to try and calm down the response her system was having to the disaster. We had to live in a condo for 8 months and they were allergic to the carpet so more visits to the vet, anal glands flared, etc. Thank you for helping me get my little one back to health without me breaking the bank. Yes, expensive but well worth it when you have a problem as we did so unexpectedly! The quick return was great also thank goodness! Pamela

Great company overall.
The only thing I don't like about Nationwide is that they don't offer quarterly billing options.

Nationwide Pet Insurance is worth every penny.
We have had our pet insurance since Bailey was a pup and it has paid dividends. She was diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma and without the insurance, I don’t know what we would have done. Thank you for seeing the need to provide insurance for our fur babies!!!!

Customer Service rep on the phone was outstanding
For my initial phone call, my customer service rep was exceptional. She was curtious, professional and knowledgeable. My dog had just died unexpectedly and it was heartbreaking for us and she was extremely empathetic. She deserves a 10. The email I just got however, was like getting punched in the stomach. You really should check your claims before sending out a "hope your dog is feeling better" email like I just got. It was definitely like pouring salt in an open wound as we are all still reeling after Max's death.
