I am extremely fortunate to have the means to insure both my dogs. One dog needed significant open lung surgery. I was so happy to have Trupanion. Honestly, I wish it covered a tiny bit more but that’s ok. I pay $170 per month (2 dogs), which is a lot, but the bills for the surgery totaled over 22,000 and they paid I think about 80% of that—they don’t pay for exams. It was soooo easy to make a claim and payment came very quickly—within days. Faster than my insurance.

So thankful!
I have never used insurance for any of my previous pets. I decided one day to get trupanion for phoebe. I saw the ads and said I’ll try and hope I never have to use it. Well phoebe got very sick. She went from perfect in the morning to almost dying at night. Trupanion was amazing. And the allowed me to make sure Phoebe got the best possible care. She is doing really well. I am so thankful that because of Trupanion and the great Doctors I have my phoebe.

This is Great Pet Insurance
I have been with ASPCA since we got our puppy in October of 2017. I have been pleased with the insurance and haven't had any issues. It's extremely easy to submit a claim online or using their app. The reimbursement can take place with direct deposit, and claims are handled in a timely manner. I would highly recommend this pet insurance.

Better than the rest!
I have use two different pet insurance companies before and had thought they were all the same with complex fine print that eventually will disappoint in your time of need. Nationwide thus far has been honest about what it will and will not cover so you can make an informed choice. For things it does cover, claim process is easy and timely. Haven’t had a need to contact their customer service to date!
