Trupanion has been great! Our puppy had hurt her leg and our veterinarian bills directly to them-we only had to pay our portion. Saved us a lot of money and has been so simple to use!

Excellent Service and Caring Employees
Last August our Golden Retriever suffered an ACL tear in her left leg - after consult with a vet surgery was recommended and completed. Trupanion was there every step of the way thru the surgery and the long long long recovery. They were prompted with their contact and kept us informed along the way as to the status of our claim. All of the Customer Service staff were caring and very helpful - if I could give Trupaniont 10 stars I would.

Pet insurance is a must, and Trupanion makes it easy. When an unexpected surgery comes around and you would normally be out of pocket a heap of money, Trupanion takes the sting away by paying for a majority of the initial cost. All for a reasonable monthly coverage payment. Your pet would do it for you, so why wait?

Trupanion gives a compassionate Human touch to their business
My dog was attacked by another dog and his back legs were paralyzed . Trupanion was so helpful , efficient, and friendly helping me with my claim during that stressful time. Then when my dog passed away (unrelated incident) I let Trupanion know and they sent me a lovely condolence card with many staff members handwriting condolence nites on the card. Trupanion is a great insurance to have for your Fur Baby. I feel every animal needs insurance just like every person needs insurance. Animals get hurt unexpectedly also. My dog jumped off something and damaged his back. Needed emergency surgery. Without Trupanion I don’t know what I would have done

Buying Healthy Paws insurance was one of my best decisions ever.
Signing up with Healthy Paws has been one of the best decisions that I’ve ever made. They are great! I’ve had 7 dogs during my adult life and I have spent many thousands of dollars, often for unexpected and non-routine costs. For my newest dog, Sparky, I decided to try pet insurance and I liked the rates and terms of Healthy Paws the most. Unfortunately, Sparky has had ACL muscle tears for both of his rear legs about one year apart. Each surgery and related appointments costed around $5,000. A year or two ago, Sparky also needed stitches after being attacked by a large neighbor dog. For each of these unexpected costs, I submitted claims to Healthy Paws and they very quickly processed and paid them. Sparky had his most recent ACL surgery last week and I received a reimbursement for the majority of the costs within a couple days after I uploaded the invoice. Also, all that I had to do was easily upload the invoice. No other information or communications were needed. It couldn’t have been easier. I couldn’t recommend Healthy Paws any more than I do! They are great!

Whenever I have questions about the policy and what it will cover, the live chat option has been a quick way to get answers. When my vet submits my claims on my behalf, they get processed immediately (it's a pay direct vet) and is nice to walk out only paying the remainder.
