Claim processing

This past year trying to get claims processed by Trupanion has been very hard. In the past I did not have this issue but It took months of my vet sending in the claims and then finally having my Vet Trupaion rep hand carry all of the claims in order for me to get reimbursed. I also had to cancele Banning's policy with Trupanion because of his death. Trupanion promptly sent me a refund check for the balance of his premium that I had paid. This check was returned to my bank and I was charged a fee for the returned check. I am still waiting for that check to be replaced.

Great coverage, great customer service

I had pet insurance (VPI) for other dogs, many years ago, but this time around I did some research, talked to friends, and heard such good things about Embrace that last December I decided to sign up all three of my dogs. So glad I did! My four-year-old mixed breed dog, always super active and healthy, came down with a persistent case of swollen tonsils a few months ago. ER visit, vet visits, specialists, biopsies... the bills piled up. I distributed claim forms to all vets. The vet offices faxed or emailed everything to Embrace; Embrace kept in touch with me via email; the deductible was met; and refunds were issued in a timely manner. And: after a quick call to the Embrace office, instead of a check in the mail, refunds were transferred electronically and were in my bank account the next morning. I love my dogs, and I'm happy to know that Embrace has them covered. I'd recommend Embrace wholeheartedly to anyone looking for health insurance for a beloved canine companion.

I am so satisfied with my Embrace insurance. I have told many pet owners about Embrace Insurance. When I call Embrace I always get a concerned and caring person to speak with. I wish there was a way to get the public more involved. It seems like so many pet owners do not know that pet insurance even exists. It is so important to focus on your pet and how well they are doing and not on how you will pay for their veterinary care. Thank you for being there for my Eddie. He is like new now. I will continue telling pet owners about Embrace Insurance.

Amazing people, amazing company.

I purchased an insurance plan for my chocolate lab about three years ago after a two day stay at the vet. It's the first time ever doing so for any of my pets. Never thinking I needed it. Four weeks ago my Bello stopped eating. Not ruling out, but also not thinking for a second that it was something serious, I brought him to the vet. Had him checked out and decided maybe I better get some xrays. I was devastated. He had a lung mass. We talked about chemotherapy. The next day I made the soonest appointment I could for him with an oncologist. It was a couple of weeks out. But my Bello did not live until then. Brought him to the animal hospital not even a week after the first appointment. They put him on IV fluids, got him to eat very little. Ultrasound showed tumors in his liver and spleen. He was seven. Two days later we put him to rest. Could not let him suffer. I did my research when I purchased insurance for him and ended up with Healthy Paws. It was the best decision I ever made. Submitting my claims, three of them, was the easiest thing. They responded to me within hours. They processed my claims within two days and I received my checks within a few days. Everything was as straightforward as they claimed it would be. The people who work there are amazing and compassionate. They cancelled my policy immediately and stopped billing me after they processed my final claim. A week later I received a sympathy card from them and in it were hand written messages from six people who work there. I cannot even describe in any amount of words of what an amazing company this is and how amazing the people are who work there.

amazing

I have rescued a female pit bull, she is 2 yrs. old and was used for breeding and was found as a stray. She has some problems with her breathing and I had some cysts removed. I was told about Embrace from my doctor at the Perry hall Animal Hospital and I am so pleased that she did tell me about Embrace. After I found out that they gave me a discount for being with U S A A I was floored. Embrace has paid me in a very reasonable matter because I have to pay it up front. I would let anyone know about this company because they are Super Amazing.

Awesome!

It is not until the emergency, then we appreciate having a safe for our pets as Healthy Paws arises. Our beloved Chloe day dawned paralyzed and showing great pain. Emergency must be operated several herniated discs. At that time emergency valued at $ 4.300, we not skimp to save our beloved French Bulldog Chloe. This saving action was supported by the fact of having to Healthy Paws on our side. Healthy Paws Thank you for supporting us, not only in economics but also with their service and concern for our baby. Thank Healthy Paws.

Excellent service!

I submitted my invoice with my dog's medical records and received confirmation within the day that all claims were processed. Check arrived 8 days later. I couldn't be happier with the quality of service!
