Insurance is good so far, but takes to long for a claim to go through

Tim Weiss, Claws & Paws Protector at Healthy Paws Pet Insurance & Foundation sent me an amazing email to see how my two dogs were doing after their respective surgeries. I was thrilled to report that both had their stitches out the day prior and were doing great!! Thanks to Tim and Healthy Paws for being so incredible. I have been telling everyone that I don't know what I would have done without this company and how timely the claims were processed. It means a lot! I will not need to file a claim again anytime soon but it is a very good feeling to know the Healthy Paws team is there if I do need to do so. Simply OUTSTANDING on every level. Easy claim filing, super fast reimbursement. Absolutely no negatives with this company!

I got the Major Medical Coverage after my few month old kitty broke his paw. Now a couple years later I have two cats (a two year old and a 6 month old). I made sure to have insurance for both of them just in case anything happens. I have submitted a claim every time I went to the vet for any reason. They respond with a friendliness and thorough explanation if it is not covered. So make sure to read what is included and what is not! My 96 lb Airedale, Reilly, recently needed a major surgery on his knee. On the day I picked him up at the vet after the surgery, I paid his bill, then had about a 5 minute wait for the vet tech to come in and teach me about Reilly's post op care. During my wait, I decided to file my claim for the surgery with Healthy Paws Pet Insurance. I opened the app, then three clicks and two photos later (literally less than two minutes), my work was done. Three business days later, I was advised my reimbursement check was on its way. Between filing and closing, I received frequent updates, so I never had to wonder about my claim's status. Even after it was done, they checked in to see how Reilly was feeling. Because of Healthy Paws, finances don't have to be a deciding factor in the care my dogs receive, and I truly feel we are on the same team.

One of my dogs tore her ACL and I got the unfortunate news that surgery was the best option for her. As scared as I was I new it was the right thing to do for her. The fact that she has Healthy Paws coverage was a godsend so I could fully concentrate on her needs and her recovery. Plus they even checked in to see how she was doing - even my health insurance doesn't check in on me when I'm sick! I highly recommend Health Paws to anyone who truly cares for their pets health.

At the age of 6, Pancho was diagnosed with Cushing's Disease, a terrible life long condition that affects hormone balance. Unchecked, a patient will die within a couple off years. Fortunately, we chose a competent Veterinarian who has had plenty of experience with the disease and knows what is necessary to keep Pancho alive and feeling good. Embrace has allowed us to follow the costly course of treatment that our Vet has prescribed. Without the financial help from Embrace, it is doubtful that we would be enjoying Pancho's company today. Thank you Embrace.

So I bring my pet in for a wellness visit and an ear infection, just to learn nothing is covered at all I had gotten the highest tier account I could get. Well now after $300 I am told that I don't have this and don't have that. This is now 2 months after my claim was initiated I couldn't believe how long this was taking. Now I'm told I can pay more per month (an unknown amount at this point) to get wellness coverage that I was led to believe I had already had! But great to know now her anxiety created this ear infection and they won't cover her anxiety. She is a GSD they all have anxiety. I am left here wondering why I pay this company $30 a month when I could just save that money and pay the 300 in the first place just to the vet?and save myself $60 oh wait that would be $360 because they didn't even cover it! Most likely won't be seeing this as an actual review anywhere but rest assured I will be posting it other places as well. Unless you can rectify this?

I have 2 Great Danes and just saying that alone sounds like it's going to cost a lot of money. And do get me wrong these dogs cost me in food bills, nail trimmings, grooming, toys, bones, treats, dog beds, etc. but I wouldn't trade it for anything. They have had their fair share of vet appointments and when I was first searching for pet insurance I was nervous. So many of my Friends let me know that their pet insurance was horrible and I don't work out with whoever their provider was. I am so happy to say that is not the case with embrace! I have had several claims on both my dogs and have always received a nice return. They've covered my girls spade my boys congestive heart failure, their shots, and other unexpected visits! Worth every penny and I'll never leave!

Embrace pet insurance has been terrific. i highly recommend them. They've been so kind to me and making sure my dogs were taken care of. Even though we are stationed overseas, they've made the process seamlessly easy.
