Timely reimbursement!
Pets Best quickly reviewed my dog's paperwork and bills from the veterinary hospital and reimbursed the payments promptly. This was especially helpful as his health issues have not been resolved and there are ongoing costs. Such peace of mind during this stressful emergency.

Premium doubled
My labradoodle is 7 1/2 yrs old. And his premium doubled in price from last year to this year. Not very happy. Called Embrace and explained to them that this is a lot. They said because claims by everyone is being filed that we all take the hit. Not right. My other labradoodle uses another company. Premium is cheaper and her coverage is better than my dog on Embrace. There should be rules or laws about taking pet owners to the cleaners because others are filing claims. Why should I pay because of that. Won’t use them for any other pet because of this reason.

Was not provided appeal method when I first asked
WhIle Embrace in general has been a decent insurance, a recent interaction has lowered my opinion. I was disputing the lack of coverage for a medical test. It was argued that the test was not covered due to pre-existing. However, the test in question can be used for several conditions, not just the one they are not covering. The agent continued to argue with me that it was not covered because of the pre-existing condition. I even asked if it would help if my vet provided more details as to why the test was run. The agent just continued to argue with me. Several emails later, he FINALLY offered a way to appeal. That offer should have been made when I first asked about providing additional information. Very poor interaction and bad customer service. Not what I have come to expect for Embrace.

All our submissions get paid promptly and with no hassle. Timely emails notify us about submission progress. Our older cat has had numerous high vet bills this year (in the $1000s) yet insurance pays with no issues.
