I have/had 3 senior pups
I have/had 3 senior pups. My Junior had some complications and Trupanion really helped me with vet bills. Submitting claims straight through with our vet office made life so much less stressful than it already was. My other 2 are now having health issues and I’m so grateful to have Trupanion in my corner.

Great customer service and wonderful company!
I generally never leave reviews, but after my experience with Trupanion, I had to let others who are considering pet insurance that I’ve had such a great experience. Even when there were issues on Trupanion’s end they worked to resolve them. The customer service was some of the best I’ve experienced in my life and the claims process was quick and relatively easy. I strongly suggest Trupanion if you’re looking!

Super fast, efficient, and truly transparent insurance
Trupanion has been clear and easy to understand right from the beginning. Although they may not be the cheapest, I think that the rate difference is earned with the communication, coverage, and efficiency of the claim process. I cannot say enough about how refreshing it is to have something works the way it should - I've been so pleased with how everything is presented by Trupanion. I have a dog who's had some allergy issues, and from the time my vet called me today, to the time I got to the office to pick up my pooch, the claim (filed by my vet, which is also a nice bonus) was already completed and approved. Awesome!

I would never ever recommend anyone to Embrace pet insurance How can they actually pay for one claim but yet I had three claims with the same diagnosis and only one was reimbursable which was a small claim But they denied the big ones sad but true they lucky to get in a one star

Don't Expect to Have Anything Covered, or to Hear Back in Any Time Frame
We have had Pet's Best for ~1.5 years and have made 3 claims thus far for our puppy the same age as the policy. At this point, I have no clue what Pet's Best actually covers and beginning to ask myself why I even have insurance through them. It takes over 6 weeks to get a claim through! During that time, no communication of the status, even if you try to reach out. When the claim finally goes through, the explanation of what was covered and what wasn't is abysmal, not to mention the fact that they cover next to nothing. 3 claims and they have covered ~10% in total. We have the BestBenefit - Unlimited Annual Limit and the EssentialWellness coverage. In our pup's annual check-up and vaccination, they did not cover the Influenza, Bordetella, Borrelia (Lyme) or Leptospira vaccines. At this point I'm paying Pet's Best to file claims and tell me more than half isn't covered.

As good as it gets
Our four year old German Shorthaired Pointer has been insured with Healthy Paws since the beginning and I must say, they are good. He had to undergo a bronchosopy and CT scan recently and Healthy Paws was great about paying their portion to our vet very quickly. Other claims, that we pay for out of pocket and are reimbursed for, are reimbursed usually within 24h. Much better insurance experience than I've had with homeowners or car or health.

Embrace is amazing on EVERY level.
We decided to get pet insurance upon our purchase of a new puppy. Our older dog had passed away, after suffering a lingering illness, and the expense of her care until she passed was daunting. One never knows when or if you will need insurance, but the peace of mind alone is worth it. As fate would have it, my 18 month old dog ended up needing emergency bladder surgery and we were able to utilize our pet insurance for the first time. Our bill was over $2,400 and after our deductible, Embrace paid the entire claim....no questions asked. WHAT A RELIEF! After our pup came home we ran into a few medical issues late on a Friday night and found out that Embrace offers a "Vet on call" service! We were able to request a call back and in less than 10 minutes, we were on the phone discussing our concerns with the Embrace Veterinary doctor. I can't say enough good things for Embrace's service, claim processing, phone app and ease of use. Would most DEFINITELY recommend them to anyone looking for pet insurance!
