Best Pet Insurance!!!

Embrace covered every claim we sent promptly & without question. The Customer service was excellent in explaining things to you and all are very helpful. I know without Embrace we would not have been able to keep our Cat with us for as long as we did. Once we are ready to get a new pet, I will definitely use Embrace again. Disappointed

My dog likes to "eat " things. Found out today that this behavior is considered "repetitive ". If he eats anything else in the next 18 months, he will not be covered.

Financial help for My dear doggy

Meme was diagnosed with inoperable Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma. Her claim was handled efficiently. We started with our regular Vet and then where referred to Specialist. All the claims were paid promptly. Iggy one of our other dogs claim was settled, last year, just as efficiently

Easy to work with

Our dog has had repeated yeast infections due to a narrow opening in one ear. Trupanion has been very quick to handle the claims. We have been very pleased with this insurance.

If only my health insurance could be this good!

We adopted our pup, Riley, in January of 2014 at 8 weeks old. She's a mixed breed (we think she is a Beagle / Lab mix) weighing in around 45 lbs, and loves to eat. We signed up for Healthy Paws as soon as we adopted her, and since the beginning they have been amazing at processing our claims with no fuss. She went through the usual issues (diarrhea, kennel cough, UTI's, etc...) nothing major, and we were very satisfied with their service and response time (always less than two weeks, typically around one, never any debate on whether charges were covered or not). However, at the beginning of August Riley suddenly stopped eating her food, became very lethargic and we knew right away that something was very wrong. Even with the worst spouts of diarrhea - she would eat everything in site. We rushed her into the vet before work, they did some x-rays, and with the results being inconclusive, decided to hold her at the Vet and have an ultrasound done. We received a call around 5 pm that there was definitely a blockage between her stomach and small intestines, and due to the sensitivity of the location the blockage was in - we needed to really go into surgery that night at an emergency facility. Long story short - Riley went through the surgery without any complications on Thursday night. We were able to pick her up Saturday morning, and $6,891.54 later, we got our baby back. As soon as we got the bill (Saturday AM) - we used their mobile application to submit the bill through my iPhone, no forms, no prior authorizations, no hoops to jump through, just a picture of each page of the invoice and pressed submit. By 11am THAT Monday, two days later, I received an email that the claim was processed with an EOB link: $6,202.39 paid! By Thursday of the same week, I had a check in my hand. Unreal processing time! In a time of such agony and fear that something could have happened to our baby, they gave us one less thing to worry about. They helped us avoid turning her medical matter into a fiscal matter, which really let us focus on what was most important for Riley. About a week after all was said and done, they even reached out to us to see how Riley was recovering. Thank you Healthy Paws!

Best pet insurance I've ever had!

I had an insurance previous to petfirst. I barely got anything paid out from it. I was frustrated as ever! What was the point? When I got my second dog I must have cross compared 5-10 different pet insurance companies. Petfirst was by far the best. They had plans that included benefits for the yearly visits. I even remember seeing coverage for rewards for missing pets. I thought wow this is everything I could ask for and then some. Who would think a company would cover that or even cover you if you cancelled a trip for a sick pet?! I was thrilled. I had always hoped I wouldn't need to use the insurance. I got the middle of the road plan just to be safe. Well there have been a few times I've needed petfirst. My dog got bit in her eye by my other dog and that cost a few hundred. Petfirst was there! When my other dog was having trouble breathing and was later diagnosed with cushings petfirst rescued us from thousands of dollars in vet bills. I put no price on my animals wellness so I am glad to say I have an insurance that is there to save me from insane vet bills. Lastly, petfirst always processes everything in a timely manner and even let me know that I still had a check I hadn't cashed. I tell everyone I know if you have a dog, petfirst should be your number one choice for insurance.

Glad I have it!

My dog has a condition that required x-rays and other complicated procedures to diagnose. The bills were high, but it was worth it to find out what was wrong. Thankfully, Pets Best reimbursed me for most of the expenses which has allowed me to be able to continue care for him without always having to put a price on it. They were willing to work with me and my vet to arrive at the best result. Thanks, Pets Best!

Life Saver!! Would be broke without it.

We were so glad to have purchased this for our large dog. When she turned 1 we noticed that she was limping and favoring one leg. I took her to a surgeon who determined that she needed both of her knees repaired. VPI covered about 90% of the bill.
