Frustrating
Frustrating! I haven't had one claim covered yet. They are claiming that my puppy had a pre-existing condition due to having puppy pyoderma (infectious process) upon being taken to the vet at 8 weeks. Somehow this is related to his ear infection at 8 months old? He went in to a pool the week prior and the culture showed bacteria in his ear! How can you possibly link this ear infection, which they are saying is an itchy allergic process to puppy pyoderma (infectious process). I'm going to file an appeal and see what happens, but if the outcome is not good, then I will not use this insurance anymore!

We have been very pleased with the prompt responses to our pets medical conditions. They have been most respectful about our questions concerning pre-existing conditions. They keep us notified through the entire process of getting our refund after our Vet visits. So far, everyone vis email or on the phone have been extremely informative and considerate.

Best word that comes to mind is "lifesaver" in regards to financial benefit of Pets Best Pet Health Insurance. Our two year old giant breed dog swollowed a rock that lodged in her intestines, which entailed a very expensive surgery to extricate.
