Beware of buying pet insurance from this company. Your deductible is not a one time deductible. The deductible is per injury, so you have to meet your deductible for each instance. Plus, there are many issues they do not cover. I do like their customer service reps, but their overall solution/product sucks. I enrolled all three of my dogs and overall they are all healthy, but the moment there's an issue they find every technicality not to pay the claim.

When I first got the insurance my husband was very skeptical and thought it would be a waste of money. Boy was he wrong!! Within the first couple of weeks my puppy ate a pair of socks that we had to bring him into the vet for as an emergency visit. One day later he broke his leg! My husband was still skeptical that the insurance would cover any of this. Within a short time of submitting the claim I received two confirmation emails from Healthy Paws that they were covering both incidents without a single problem or question! Thank you Health Paws for not only making this time much more bearable but for also looking out for Duke!

I joined ASPCA in February. The very next month we really needed it. My Dachshund/Chihuahua mix was running outside and ruptured a disc in her lower back. This left her paralyzed almost immediately! I took her to an Animal Neurology center where they did an MRI and did surgery to remove the spinal compression. Summer had to stay in the hospital for nearly a week. Needless to say, my medical bill was very steep. I submitted my claim and crossed my fingers that the surgery and all of the other necessities would be covered. They covered 90% less her annual deductible! I was so relieved as I didn't know how I was going to pay off that credit card bill! I am a very happy client so far!

Within one week of filing I received reimbursement. Totally simple and worry-free process. When you've got your pet's well being to focus on instead of worrying about insurance. Totally recommend!
