We are so happy with our decision not only to get pet insurance for our dog, but specifically to go through Healthy Paws. The app is so easy to use to submit a claim and we usually have our reimbursment check within a couple weeks. Our dog recently had to have surgery that cost over $4,000. My normally rambunctious 15th month old shepherd mix was diagnosed with pneumonia within a few days of policy renewal. In his recheck visit it was discovered he had a bronchial infection. Between the hospital stay, medication and follow up visits, the costs really mounted up (over $2000). The *very* helpful Embrace staff answered all my questions and were able to ease my mind in a very stressful time. I am very happy with how the claims was handled and the efficiency of the customer support staff. There is no doubt that insurance can be costly and the premiums do go up every year. For me, however, the peace of mind knowing I will be able afford emergency care for my dog at the time I need it is worth the cost. I have added the premiums to my annual budget. A relative first suggested Embrace and I am so glad I overcame my initial hesitancy. I have Accident & Illness coverage at 90% as well as Prescription Drug coverage. In my case the cost of wellness coverage exceeds our standard outlay that it is not worth it. I highly recommend Embrace.
