Surprising Service !!

I have been fortunate to avoid any claims with my Jack Russell terrier. However she recently had an issue that required some vet visits and blood work. The situation is still open and may require further treatment, but Pets Best Customer Service suggested that I send in the bills I already had so they could start processing them.After submitting my claim I immediately got an e-mail that it had been received. Within 5 days after that I had an explanation of benefits and notice of amount they were paying. Amazing turn around for my reimbursement....wish all insurance companies were this efficient. I am glad I chose this company....they treated me like a valued client, not just a number.

Healthy Paws to the rescue

I never had pet insurance until my daughter recommended Healthy Paws for my new Yorkie puppy. Sure enough, he had a condition that required surgery after only a few months. I submitted the claim, had an immediate response and a reimbursement within a week. They do what they say they are going to do, no questions asked. The process using the app couldn't have been easier.Excellent company, excellent customer service! I highly recommend them.

new with ASPCA Insurance

I insured my beloved dogs --Ramone, GoGo & Eos-- with ASPCA Insurance about 3 months ago. Unfortunately, Eos fell ill and I had to bring her to the vet. I put in a claim for the the services she received with ASPCA. From the get-go, throughout the entire claim process, and ending with receiving reimbursement and a follow up call to inquire about Eos' well-being, I found their system easy to navigate, and each person I spoke with there to be courteous, efficient, and as it seemed to me, genuinely caring about my pups. I am very happy I selected ASPCA Insurance for my pups. I am also happy to report that Eos is doing great!

Waste of money

I was a former ASPCA Pet Health Insurance customer, but cancelled today because all three of my claims were denied. I had to draw the line when my dog's recent visit to the vet (including xrays and treatment) was denied on the basis of being a "pre-existing condition." He had eaten a plastic mouth-guard! How is that a "pre existing condition" and not an accident? When I called customer service to see why this wasn't covered, she said it was considered a preexisting gi problem and that the vet didn't find evidence of a foreign body. This is a lie - our vet has pieces of the mouth guard that Luke vomited up. The other claims that were denied were for an ear infection and conjunctivitis. I had the level 2 plan, which is supposed to cover accidents and illness. I think this whole pet insurance is a scam, and I will let everyone know about my experience.

excellent service

Timely and consistent

I have had this insurance for my Great Dane for over 5 years. Fortunately I have not had to file many claims over that period of time. However, for those larger vet/specialty bills, ASPCA insurance has processed and paid the claims quickly and consistently. I feel comfortable with the the level of protection they provide in helping offset the cost of my dog's medical visits.

wouldn't know how to have pets without it!

We have used PetFirst to cover all of our pets for 2 years now. They covered the end of life treatment our Terrier mix needed for Stage 4/5 Lymphoma, including the euthanasia at the end for the terrier and two of our older cats. They also covered the surgery our kitten needed after she accidentally choked down 14 inches of string and needed an emergency $2500 surgery. Our claims are always processed quickly (less than 3 weeks) and we can always check the status online or via phone call.

My Pug Cooper

ASPCA PET INSURANCE has been a godsend. When Cooper had his gallbladder burst their claim service was extremely fast. The claim ended up being well over $10k and they paid a good portion. I would have done anything to save my dog but having the insurance made the event less stressful. It has been over a year and Cooper is back to himself. Another thing ASPCA has done well with is Cooper's allergies. I could not be more pleased.

Petfirst Insurance -Best decision I ever made!!!!

I have only been a pet first member for about 6 months my dog is very healthy and has never had a single vet problem. His breath went from bad to worse and I was a little concerned after trying all kinds of brushing for a few weeks - Took him to the vet and was told his breed suffer with periodontal disease and he'll need teeth removing::(( He had multiple blood tests and had a perfect bill of health, besides the teeth! He needed surgery and we decided to do it within 48 hrs of being at the vet. We submitted documentation and followed up a week later as I received and email that all documents were not submitted - worked that out quickly and everyone I spoke with at petfirst were friendly and very helpful. Within a week of the 2nd submission of documents I called again and then received an email follow by a check for almost the entire cost of the procedure!!! We will be staying with Petfirst as it has proved to be priceless already - Thank you petfirst!!
