Will not cover emergency services out of the US
When travelling on vacation to Canada, one of our Frenchies became ill with a respiratory problem. We underwent xrays and treatments while in Canada and submitted a claim. It took over 3 weeks to finally get a response which then was denied due to out of the territory. Travelling back to the US for vet services was not an option for us.
Whats the point of insurance if you cant use it?

Need to be specific about what happens next
I received a message that my claim "has been covered". Why don't you also add, "A check has been sent to you and should be delivered within 10 business days" ?

Pet first is affordable and hassle free.
I searched for months for a pet insurance that would accept elderly dogs and cover breeding emergencies. Pet First is the only one that covered all my needs and is surprising affordable. My 15 year old poodle needed growths removed and the claim was handled quickly and efficiently. The procedure ended up only costing me fifty dollars. For a small additional fee the breeder's rider gives me peace of mind in case there should ever be an emergency puppy delivery. I tell everyone who adopts one of my puppies about Pet First. It's a great value for peace of mind.

Great insurance for my little old dog
I have this coverage for four years. Every year, something happens to my little dog that need several trips to the vet. ASPCA has been fair and prompt in reimbursing the expenses. I highly recommend this insurance for your pets

I am a huge fan of Pet's Best insurance.
The benefits of having Pet's Best insurance outweighs the cost of the premiums. I am confident that I can afford whatever treatment my dog needs when Pet's Best pays a portion of my bill. My Bernese Mountain Dog needed x-rays and tests to diagnose his limping. Pet's best was very quick to respond and reimburse me for their part of bill. They are also very very nice to deal with on the phone. I will recommend Pet's Best to anyone to wants health insurance for their pet.

WAS there to help
I admit that I had doubts if my "daughter" would be covered. After finding out she had a digestive problem, possible Mega Esophagus. I was beside myself with her health and even if she would live through it. I'm permanently disabled and am on a very low fixed income. The one dog was all I could ever afford with just the regular upkeep in vet bills. She is a mix breed I adopted and love more than life itself! After I submitted my bills, it took a bit for them to do their research. Which I can understand. I did get very slightly less than I thought I would. But it was still quite close to the % of what I can afford to pay for each month. It sure helped a LOT to get part of the money it had cost back! The people you talk with are all so nice and caring. My vet even commented on how easy they are to work with. If you are looking for peace of mind? Even if you are unable to afford all the coverage you would like. Buying the amount that you can afford is still much better than having none at all! I'm sure happy that I bought the ASPCA health insurance that I did. And depending on your income, you can get whatever your needs/wants are!

Claim paid swiftly
My 15 year old dog suffered a sudden collapse. I rushed her to the ER where I was told her prognosis was poor because she had an infected mass in her abdomen and she was already in a very ill state. The cost estimate for care was six to eight thousand dollars. Had she not has insurance I would have put her down but instead I requested emergency surgery and all the best care, which she did receive.
Indeed, the final bill was $8000 but she is now 16 and doing well. PetsBest paid $5000, which was the limit of her policy. They declined a few small items but no pointing arguing over them. The claim was handled in a timely manner with only a few hiccups-- they could not read all of one of the pages submitted so sent me a "form letter" email, which was not helpful. I wrote back complaining and a real person called me to sort it out.
In future my pets will have $20,000 worth of coverage because veterinary care especially emergency is expensive

Worth every penny
I have had the wellness and accident/injury coverage since my puppy came home. I, thankfully, have not had to use the accident/injury coverage, he's also only 1 year and 9 months old. But wellness coverage is fabulous! Simple form: check wellness visit, vet stamps form, copy of receipt & in the mail it goes or send via email. Quick response from Embrace & I have my calm $$ fast! Very pleased with my plan & coverage!

Very impressed!
We obtained our policy just 2 months before a very expensive ACL tear. Even though we'd submitted our Orthopedic Report Card immediately upon policy acquisition to eliminate the waiting period, I was still expecting some push-back from Embrace given how short a period we'd been covered for. I was pleasantly surprised that they honored our claim and reimbursed us promptly for the coverage amount we'd selected and without any hassle. They have definitely renewed my faith in insurance companies : ). I couldn't be more pleased.
