Happy dog with a happy owner

My Chi mix, Billie, started limping one day. At anything faster than a walk, she would lift her right hind leg and hop a long. I thought it was a sprain and that it would go away, but it didn't. after a week or two, I took her into the vet. He said it was a problem with her hip joint. Somehow, probably through an injury, the ball at the end of her femur had broken off and was still in there, floating around in the joint socket. It was causing her some discomfort and to relieve her pain, he would need to remove the piece that had broken off. The surgery was about a month ago and she's doing MUCH better. The service from Healthy Paws was friendly, courteous, and ultra fast! They were a pleasure to work with. Thank you, Healthy Paws!

Wonderful Service!

We have been Embrace customers for 2 - 3 years now. Our husky Zeus was diagnosed with lymphoma about 3 months ago. He just finished his second round of chemo and I couldn't imagine going through this without Embrace. The vet's office has been great about submitting claims quickly after each appointment and I have a reimbursement check within 10 days of the treatment. I called Embrace at the beginning of this journey and they were compassionate, caring, and very helpful with the information they provided. I have recommended Embrace to friends and even strangers I meet at the store as we're buying pet supplies. If you have pets, you need pet insurance and Embrace is the best!

Excellent Company!

When my husband and I adopted our puppy we were told by so many people to look into pet insurance. I wasn’t convinced it was necessary but my husband was insistent that we get it. After looking into a few companies we decided on Healthy Paws. Applying for insurance was a breeze and I felt better knowing our dog was protected. After a month my puppy broke her toe in 3 places at the dog park. From the moment we submitted the first claim I was extremely satisfied. The process was so easy and convenient, you snap a picture on your phone and you’re done. You receive your refund check in a matter of days. When we submitted our first claim our vet’s office was required to send our puppy’s medical records. I asked them to but there was a delay so Healthy Paws reached out to them for me. That was such a nice bonus! Fast-forward a few weeks and it was determined that my puppy had a better chance of healing 100% if she had surgery. Healthy Paws reached out to check on her, which I thought was so nice knowing that during a hard time they really did care for her well-being. I am extremely happy with my choice to get Healthy Paws Pet Insurance and I encourage all that are debating to go for it because I know like me you will have no regrets! Such a wonderful company that is easy to navigate and has such an amazing staff!

I would recommend Healthy Paws for any pet owner

My puppy was diagnosed with abnormally in her skull. We had to spend a lot of money with MRI and a brain surgery. We had no problem have a reimbursement from Healthy Paw, the whole process was very easy, we could scan the receipt and send it using our phone, 5 days after reviewing the case they sent us a check. I highly recommend Healthy Paws for any pet owner.

Claim processing

This past year trying to get claims processed by Trupanion has been very hard. In the past I did not have this issue but It took months of my vet sending in the claims and then finally having my Vet Trupaion rep hand carry all of the claims in order for me to get reimbursed. I also had to cancele Banning's policy with Trupanion because of his death. Trupanion promptly sent me a refund check for the balance of his premium that I had paid. This check was returned to my bank and I was charged a fee for the returned check. I am still waiting for that check to be replaced.

Unhelpful and a waste of effort

I adopted a cat not knowing she had a urinary tract infection, ring worm and an eye infection. I submitted three separate claims trying to get money back for the 300 something dollars we had to pay for her health after the adoption in the first month! I got one email from the insurance saying they had to have ALL the vets notes from every visit she had had since the adoption. I had asked my vet to send everything already and there wasn't a lot I could do but ask again. The vet said she would send everything in. I never heard back from the insurance until like three weeks later when they decided to deny every claim. What is the point of having pet insurance if it doesn't give you anything back? Seriously, I spent time going to get copies of paperwork, filling out claim forms, calling the vet and mailing in all the forms, nothing back. Honestly, this whole thing feels like a scam.
