Pets Best saved our pup. When he was 15 weeks old he chewed on the plug to an electrical cord and was electrocuted. He had a seizure and went into shock. He wouldn't be here today if my husband didn't rush him to the pet hospital right away. And he couldn't have done that without the security of knowing we had pet insurance to cover the heavy financial weight of the accident. Their claims process was easy and fast — we were reimbursed within 4 days. I'm forever grateful.

First time filing a claim and I was surprised at how smooth it went. Much easier than filing a human claim with my insurance. lol Oh and quicker response time for sure. Good job.

I think Trupanion failed on my claim to be covered for Bruno's possible early renal disease. He was denied coverage even though there was no diagnosis of anything before he was insured. And he had only a slightly elevated creatinine which could have been caused by a myriad of factors. There was no pre-existing condition before he was insured. You will take your premiums, but you will make every effort to deny a claim if you think you can get away with it...no matter how tenuous the defense. In my case, you are plain and simply wrong. What good is an insurance company that tries to squirm out of legitimate claims when you need them? As a lawyer and customer, I can't endorse a company that will deny any clam they think they can get away with. It's not coverage.

I am so thankful I bought pet insurance, after tossing around the idea for months. My dog randomly had a very expensive vet visit, with IMT~ some immune issue associated with low platelets. Not only was that bill covered, but also her (very expensive!! ) immunosuppressant meds, and she will need also continue to get blood work done. . SOOOOOO thankful I chose this company, and went ahead and insured my 4 dogs when I did, never would have expected something like this would have happened to her. Thank you Pet's Best!!!

We are extremely happy with the Staff at Trupanion. It was our first call to report an incident with one of our dogs. The staff told us what they need from our vet office and also advised us about express claim service.
