Luke had been insured by another carrier for a number of years, but their premiums kept going up and up, more than 300% over 3 years. Also, things like preventative care, checkups and prescriptions were not covered unless I wanted to purchase their "premium rate coverage" for $185/mo. ASPCA covers all of this and for about half that amount. The claim process is really easy and I usually have the reimbursement in about a week. Also, their customer service staff are really kind and helpful.

We have the medium-grade plan through ASPCA, and while we thankfully haven't had to use it but a few times in the past many years, when we did the terms were clear and honestly applied; submission of claims on their website was breezy and processing speed was expeditious; ASPCA insurance representatives were easy to get a hold of, and seemed genuinely caring. My husband and I have said this more than once about ASPCA: "If only humans were treated this way."

I've always bought insurance for my dogs. However, this is the first policy I've purchased from PetsBest which was based on the good reviews I read online. I covered my Cocker Spaniel, Cooper, from the day I bought him back in March of 2017. I have had Trupanion for years, and used it for my dogs of all sizes and ages and shapes and breeds. The service is unparalleled, things move quickly and you get your refund very fast. I have submitted claims from minor vet visits to major cancer surgery and treatment. In a time of medical need, having this insurance can (and has been for me) the difference between being able to pursue the best treatment or not. When I was handed my dog who was then 8 weeks old and had been abandoned at a vet hospital, the first call I made was to Trupanion to sign him up. And in his first year, he has used it 3 times!

It was great when online submitted started but would be nice if multiple files can be uploaded to the same claim submission. Claim resolution has improved lots!

My claim is still ongoing as we're still in the diagnosis/treatment plan stages for my Milo's cancer diagnosis, but it makes it easier knowing Pets Best has our financial back!

Rugey, my Boykin Spaniel, loves to play fetch with his ball. He seems to plan his spectacular jumps for his ball, then trots around proudly after he catches it mid-air. One particular jump, he landed awkwardly on his shoulder/neck and suffered some soft tissue injury. Naturally, we took him to our Veterinary Clinic. Rugey underwent an exam and x-ray imaging. We were happy that no bones were broken and the damage was just soft tissue. This was an emergency illness where our dog experienced severe gastroenteritis and was hospitalized for dehydration and lack of eating. We were extremely pleased with the speedy processing of the claim.

Fantastic experience. I was able to file my claims on line (2 wellness checkups and prescriptions) I was notified about receiving the claims, processing them and payment on them. Payment was deposited into my account. The whole procedure was painless.
