I've had many friends get dog and run into the typical horror stories where unexpected problems and illnesses occur and suddenly the dog goes from a $700 investment to a $7000 one. I started researching pet insurance RIGHT when I knew I seriously wanted a puppy. There are many fancy new brands with apps and instant access and such, but nothing gives you the TOTAL and FULL coverage like Nationwide. I have found this insurance to be such a financial safety net I needed when buying a dog. I have no qualms about taking my little guy to get the care he needs, when he needs it because I know Nationwide will have my back. The total wellness package option is a little pricey, but worth every penny (especially as a first time dog owner) to know that if the worst happens, you won't be digging into your savings to pay for it. The claims process is super easy, and I am reimburse without questions asked. It's easier than my own health insurance. I'll never go anywhere else with my dog. I love Nationwide's hassle-free, sleep without worrying, simply the best coverage!

Saddle Brook, NJ We decided to get insurance and decided that Pets Best was the best choice. Incredibly, only a few days after the waiting period ended our dog developed pancreatitis. We filed our claim electronically and received a check (in the amount we were expecting) within weeks. So happy we choose Pets Best!

In may, 2015 my dog was seriously attacked by another dog while walking in our neighborhood with me, then this year she had to have mast cells removed and this summer experienced flea s from a pet friendly lodging. All claims processed expediently, but it appears my premium increases with each usage of the insurance. The premiums are not excessive for our benefits we receive, however.

Nationwide is amazing, and amazing to say the least. My check did take a few weeks to be reimbursed, however not only was 100% reimbursed but when I called to talk to someone about how long it was taking; they started tracking it down and told me after 30 days to call them again and they would send another out immediately. Customer service was great due to the fact that she was acting as if the check was hers! (even though she knew it was mine!) she was friendly and very resourceful!

Having pet insurance is a plus for our furry babies. They are like our children who get into things and get sick etc. VET cost can be expensive and having this insurance where you can submitted a claim to either get fully reimbursed or partially reimbursed is a stress release on our pockets. It's worth the monthly payment and it will pay off in the long run.

We are so grateful our Veterinarian recommended Trupanion insurance for our Roxie when she was younger, and we have the security, and well-being knowing her medical needs will be covered. We have been so happy with the coverage, and customer service, and highly recommend for all pet owners.

As a new pet mom I have lots of questions and I love the 24-hour veterinarian service it is amazing I can get my questions answered without having to go to the vet they are knowledgeable and friendly. I love that I can get a reimbursement on all the services I need to get for him this is a great service I'm so glad I have Nationwide on my side

This is the first pet that I have gotten Pet insurance for. So far, I have submitted 2 claims. I received EOB's on both of them within 2 weeks. Check was issued within that time also. These claims were paid more quickly than my own Health insurance.
