Disappointed

First of all, receiving a letter from Laura Bennett (CEO) is just a form letter. Secondly, the claim check I received 2 weeks ago was for a claim submitted in October of last year. And last, I would stay away from this insurance company. I have an ongoing dispute with them and get stone-walled at every turn.

Glad I chose Embrace

I took out accident/illness insurance with Embrace for my Shiba Inu after experiencing some very costly medical bills for my chow chow. At the age of 12 she tore her ACL and had to have surgery then a few months later, a day after her 13th birthday, she bloated and had to be rushed into emergency surgery. She survived and was in ICU for about 5 days but during the surgery they discovered a malignant tumor on her liver. She passed away at the age of 14. I do not in any way regret spending the money for her medical care but had I known about Embrace beforehand I would not have had to cash in on my retirement policy. Thankfully, my Shiba has only had to use the coverage for minor issues (torn dew claws which had to be surgically removed, and a tooth extraction)Embrace was very quick to review and process the claims. I have been very happy with Embrace and I truly hope that I don't have any major accidents or illnesses with my Shiba but feel relieved to know that if I do, I have the security of having Embrace to help with the costs.

I was so pleased to learn that you have allowed Zeus's services at South Suburban Animal Hospital. Your service is wonderful I do hope that my cousin has called you people got a policy for her cat Molly. In any case I am so happy and glad I have you wonderful people who care about pets. Worth It

I've had my dogs covered for a few years now. Prior to last month the premium was VERY reasonably priced, coverage was ok, but the claims took forever to process. Recently, the premiums have increased, but are still lowest in the industry for my area. The claim process has been greatly streamlined, they are communicative and have increased the coverage reimbursement. Definitely worth it for me.

Great Service

My little Schnauzer had to have surgery to remove bladder stones. Surgery was good and the claim was paid quickly and correctly. Received a sincere follow up phone call from the ASPCA Insurance company checking on my little fellow.

Excellent and Efficient!

Shasta, our sweet rescued Alaskan Husky, has gone through a lot of health-related problems in the past year that she has been with us: Heart worm, Ehrlichia, a fatty tumor, and a very weak stomach at the beginning. Given the frequency of her first trips to the vet, we knew we need some help in taking care of the bills in the future, did our research on pet insurance, and found the best: Healthy Paws! We could not have made a better choice. Healthy Paws covers a broad set of pet health expenses and has been supporting us throughout all Shasta's treatments. We just upload photos of the receipts in the Healthy Paws app, and they start processing in a couple of days. So, now we can focus all of our attention on Shasta's health knowing that we are not financially alone. Recently, she needed to go under an unexpected abdominal surgery. She got the best medical care she could, and we received a check for about $3k covering %90 of the expenses in a couple of days. I don't think there is anything more a pet parent could ask for. We have been extremely satisfied with their support and strongly recommend them to all pet owners!

So Necessary

I had an 8 year old cat with reoccurring but undiagnosed problems. I spent several thousand of dollars over approximately two-three years on every possible test/remedy you could think of. XRays, Ultrasounds, Bloodwork, Science Diet Food, Allergy testing, etc. Fortunately for me, I had VPI pet insurance and I was fairly promptly reimbursed for the appropriate percentage of my vet bill (based on my selected plan & options). I have had 99 problems, but VPI was not one. *The above experience was circa 2011-2014. I have a new cat now (age 5), and i still have VPI insurance, but fortunately I have not had to use it at all in the last 3+ years.

Claim in April

Claims are now received and processed quickly money is auto deposit. So claims are now very efficient which makes life with a diabetic cat easier.
