I'm so very happy I have this

I couldn't be happier with another pet insurance! NOT EVEN IF IT WAS FREE! The coverage is superb, the customer service is amazing - it's not a bank breaker! I definitely recommend this insurance company!

Nationwide - smartest decision I made

We lost our last wolfhound to cancer and did not have insurance. Our costs for exploratory surgery and consults were over $3,500. Not to mention the anxiety of having to come up with the cash. When we got another wolfhound I was determined to get insurance and chose Nationwide's full plan. Our pup was 8 weeks old when we got her and being a larger breed the premium is more per month but we already knew that costs can get out of hand with a wolfie. She needed surgery to correct a leg injury she sustained. Valgus deformity as a result of the damage to the growth plate. Surgery was $3500 to fix the leg up and plus the cost of several follow up visits with x rays. I think it was over $4500, Nationwide covered everything they promised - 90 percent of all vet bills above the deductible. My girlfriend says getting nationwide is one of the smartest things I did.

Thank you Healthy Paws!

Our 6-year old dog just undergone the TPLO surgery. It is a really challenging, expensive and complicated procedure. Having Healthy Paws is like having a caring friend around offering a helping hand in a challenging situation. Submitting claims is easy, processing is quick. Customer service outstanding. If you think about getting an insurance, look no further!

If you like Jumping through Hoops

I purchased a policy for my first Dalmatian in 2015 and was very pleased. Fast forward to 2017, I purchased a policy for my 2nd Dalmatian and have done nothing but jump through hoops every time I submit a claim. I was told that a NEW underwriter is the issue. Pet Partners will automatically reject almost every claim and you will have to resubmit . Usually error on their side, or the Vet explanation is not worded correctly or a little vague . Sometimes they can't read your email or fax, its not clear enough. Always something. Who has time for this. My own personal Health Insurance is less hassle. I still keep a policy so hopefully things will improve. My pets health is very important and I do believe in having Pet Insurance, so PLEASE review your claim submittal process Pet Partners and work with your policy holders to make it easier. I would not recommend this company now, but if they improve their claims process procedures, I would.

Most responsive and caring

Bailey, a Goldendoodle, is the second dog insured with ASPCA. We had unfortunate terminal cancer at four years with our previous Golden retriever, but ASPCA was always responsive and would have paid for more treatments but it was best to let him go. Bailey had two short illnesses, all cured, and ASPCA was again responsive and caring. Best I have ever seen.

Top notch pet insurance

Our dog has gone through 2 major surgeries since he has been covered by Healthy Paws. Each claim has been reviewed and completed in a very timely manner. Their customer service has even reached out to us after each surgery to make sure he is feeling better! We have been extremely happy with Healthy Paws, and will continue to use them and recommend them to other pet owners.

Best decision we ever made for them!

Embrace Pet insurance is better than my own health insurance!! They covered our Newfie's cruciate ligament tear for both legs in two years paying us around $9,000. They never questioned a claim or asked for more documentation and gave us the run around like our health insurance company does. Getting Embrace for our pets is what best decision we ever made for them!

Worst

Absolute worst customer service. Extremely rude and not helpful. Never purchasing insurance through AKC and recommending to all of my friends and family not to either.

Customer service representatives....

Customer Service Representatives are always very pleasant and are knowledgable in most aspects of the polices. Unfortunately, submitting a claim requires jumping through hoops anymore.
