Excessive hold time; agents not familiar with policy terms.
I had questions about their policy. Hold time to ask an enrollment question was about 30 minutes, and this isn't even for their claim department. Good luck if you have a claim and need to speak to someone about it! Also, once I was able to speak to an enrollment agent, the agent was unable to answer policy specific questions. She said I have to enroll first, and then I will get a copy of the policy after I enroll. That sounds counterintuitive. Most people would rather know what they're getting before purchasing.

We Love Trupanion Insurance!
We've had Trupanion insurance for our boy, Bailey for many years. Thankfully, he was very healthy for many years. Unfortunately, he's developed some serious issues in the last couple of years. Trupanion has kept their promise to be an excellent insurance company. Submitting claims online is very easy and streamlined. They process claims and issue a reimbursement extremely quickly. Any time I've had a question, Customer Service has been wonderful. We love Trupanion Insurance!

Healthy Paws is the Best Pet Insurance With Lots of Plan Options
Healthy Paws has taken phenomenal care for two of my golden retrievers. Recently my four year old golden tangled with a porcupine which lead to quills puncturing her lungs. The surgery was extensive and I would have struggled to afford it without Healthy Paws. Payment was prompt, email notifications were prompt, and most important when I had a question the person I worked with was kind, thorough, and got the job done immediately. Meanwhile my girl has recovered and lives another day. Thank you Healthy Paws!
