We were informed very quickly (within a day) that the claim was in process. Also, when it was adjudicated I was informed promptly. I understood the process and decisions. We very much appreciated the timeliness and clarity of the claim.

I feel that since I am paying $100 a month I should be covered or should I say my dog Should be covered for more. Going to look In to this

I was told by Abby that I had met my deductible on Sandy's HGE so I would be reimbursed the 90% for the tylan powder which was $120. She also gave me the claim number to use. I was notified when the claim was reviewed that I still have $115 more to go on my deductible after this claim. I called again to find out what happen and the lady I spoke to said that after researching my records that because I changed my deductible that I have to meet it all over again even though I met it the first time for the HGE condition. This I think is terribly unfair because once you reach a deductible on a condition then it should stay met instead of making me meet the new deductible simply because circumstances required me to change the amount of the deductible. I am thankful for Trupanion and they have helped me immensely with the cost of my dog's HGE. I have always been treated with kindness and caring when I have called. My only problem is the deductible issue.

Your custumer service reps are very helpful. But Im paying a lot more than I expected. My dog is having surgery next week and even with your insurance I have to pay a lot. With examination fees of regular vet, then specialist exam fees then taxes on the surgery and the 10% surgical cost., I end up paying $2000.00 for this now....a lot more than I was expecting and can afford.
