You must have pet insurance!
After one of my friends had a huge vet bill with her dog, and my own experience with my previous dog, I vowed to obtain pet insurance with my next pet. Good thing we did because our little Maltipoo ruptured one of his discs jumping off of our kitchen table when we were not home. Trupanion was so great about the claims procedure and reimbursed us within 10 days after making the claim. I advise anyone with a pet to obtain Trupanion pet insurance.

Fibrocartilaginous Embolism
My Yellow Labrador suffered a Fibrocartilaginous Embolism back in March just as the COVID lockdown was starting to kick-in which resulted in Gabby having to be hospitalized for a couple of weeks resulting approximately $12,000 (CDN) in vet and rehab bills which were fully covered by Trupanion minus any deductibles. Claim process was simple in which the vet billed Trupanion directly thus eliminating the need to pay out of pocked. I've had Trupanion since Gabby was a pup and it's events like this that makes Trupanion worth the monthly fee.

Pet insurance is a must with our pack
Pet insurance is a must with our pack! It has allowed me to provide the best possible care for my dogs. ( better medical care that I get!) I have no hesitation taking them to specialists or requesting tests, xrays, ultrasound examinations. Please consider the peace of mind and comfort this brings to a sensitive or urgent situation.

Always been a pleasant experience.
I have had nothing but a pleasant experience with Trupanion since I first signed up about 6 or 7 years ago. Claims are always processed quickly, and thanks to Trupanion express, my vet clinic can direct bill which makes it WAY easier! If it weren't for Trupanion, I would not have been able to get emergency back surgery for my dog and give her the ability to walk again.

Working with Trupanion is so easy and friendly. I will say that I wish you covered more of the emergency bill that we have instead of saying some of the bill was routine checks and therefore not covered. Nothing was routine about taking Angel to an Animal Hospital when she was bleeding during urination. Everything they had to do was because of this situation and should have been covered in my opinion. So in that regard I am sad because our monthly insurance payment is not inexpensive. However, like I said, Trupanion is very quick to respond and always very friendly. Submitting a claim is also super easy so thank you for that.

Healthy Paws is by far the best…
Healthy Paws is by far the best insurance experience I have ever had as an animal lover and pet parent. I know 10000% that I do not have to worry about what services I can choose for my pet because HEalthy Paws has a one plan fits all. Ill never forget after my dog's TPLO surgery which was several thousand - which they covered without any issue and SO QUICKLY!- but one thing my parent and I didn't think about was the Rehabilitation needed. We had no idea if this was covered as the animal hospital mentioned insurances having different packages and it may not be included, but Healthy Paws came through. When we inquired about rehabilitation, they said "we have one plan so pet parents do not have to worry about providing the care they want to provide" and once they said that, I knew I never needed to search for another insurance provider again. And I TELL EVERYONE I CAN about Healthy Paws. WE are on our second TPLO and same experience. FOREVER COMMITTED AND THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR MAKING THIS EXPERIENCE SO WELCOMING - LIKE FAMILY <3
