I have never had pet insurance before…

I have never had pet insurance before for a lot of reasons but with this new puppy I wanted to be able to have extra options for her health in the future. She is only 4 months old but I added the prevention option as a way to make the routine vet visits more affordable. She had her rabies vaccination a week ago and I have already been reimbursed by the plan. Extremely happy with the service@

Scam: They raise insurance SUBSTANTIALLY as the dog ages to kick older dogs off of plans

Healthy Paws is a flat out scam, which is why there are multiple class action lawsuits against them. Since joining, my rates have doubled despite no pre-existing conditions, few claims, and promises that rates will remain constant. The company raises rates SUBSTANTIALLY as your pet ages, making it astronomically expensive after ~4 years. This is a scheme to kick older animals off of plans, right when they actually need insurance. While your pet is young, Healthy Paws will seem great. The app is easy to use and customer service is friendly. However, they DO NOT follow their own terms of service and WILL raise your rates precisely when you actually need to use the insurance. DO NOT USE HEALTHY PAWS.

We are beyond disappointed and hope…

We are beyond disappointed and hope nobody uses this company if you have a claim that was an emergency for your pet! We have all paperwork from the ER physician along with our forms from the bin call surgeon state what happened to our dog was very unpredictable and they refused the claim stating it was something else that was pre existing An intussusception is Definitely an emergency! Never will NEVER recommend this company! We feel for the cost which is more than many others we got zero help and feel we wasted a lot of time. Never again and we will continue to share our incident in hopes many others never deal with them to have to go through what we have!

Thankful for Fetch

I purchased insurance for my Goldendoodle when she was a puppy. She was diagnosed with Lymphoma at only 4 years old. My experience in getting reimbursed as we travel her journey to recovery is a God send. She is in remission and I have peace of my mind knowing Fetch protected me from financial strain.

Seems like they're working hard to avoid paying some claims

We've had AKC Pet insurance for several years. Our dog recently started having intestinal issues, so we had a series of visits to the vet. Unfortunately the source of the problem hasn't been determined, so we're still working though it. I was thankful we had insurance, and to be fair, they did cover 3 of the 5 claims. That's why I'm giving them 2 stars instead of 1. However, they are asking for more information about the remaining 2 claims. Normally this would seem reasonable, but the problems with our dog began in April of 2021, and they are requiring EVERY medical record dating back to January of 2019. All of this for two $20 claims. I don't have every medical record going back that far, and I've switched vets so I don't have access to the prior vet's records. The dog hasn't had any ongoing issues, but they're making it very difficult to satisfy their requirements.

I am very excited about my new puppy…

I am very excited about my new puppy Maggie. She is a Shih Tzu and will be arriving when she is 8 weeks old. I have been gathering things for her and my breeder sends me pictures each week. So I know how important pet insurance will be. I've researched so many then I made my pick and purchased a policy so I'll be ready. When reading over the policy I realized Maggie has to be in my home, not two weeks away. So I called customer service. They answered right away and I explained what happened and she understood my excitement. Customer service was friendly and helpful. Everything I filled out will be saved and just one phone call when Maggie is sitting in my lap and I'll have her covered with her policy. Thank you for being so helpful ☺
