A Particularly Great Company

Our pup played ball too hard and bunked up her knee to the tune of nearly $600. I submitted a claim and heard back from Pets Best within a few days. Great response; great rewards... great company! Thanks, PB!

Can't recommend Embrace enough

Let me first say that the Embrace phone representatives are beyond awesome. Prior to getting Rosie, our Boston Terrier, my daughter inlaw took out pet insurance on their rescued dog. At the time I thought it was extravagant. Before the policies first anniversary their dog needed surgery. Per the policy, insurance paid and it was indeed a wise investment. Within 6 months another family members dog ate rib bones and corn cobs from a 12 person rib fest which basically turned to cement in his belly. He didn't have insurance and his bill was over $5,000. This bill was all his and quite a hardship. When we got our Rosie I never wanted to be in the situation of weighing If I could afford medical treatment for her. Therefore, I decided to take out insurance when she was 8 months old. Honestly my husband grumbled a bit when I initially got it. The renewal came the following year and he resisted even more maintaining we've always had healthy dogs and this is an expense that we could do without. True we had always had healthy dogs, but I held strong and we renewed for the second year. December, 2017 my Rosie got sick with what I initially thought to be a canine virus, 3 consecutive days we had vet appointments as her condition continued to spiral. When her blood test came back we were off to the local emergency animal hospital, her liver #'s were off the charts. Enroute my husband said "well I guess we will see how great this pet insurance is!" I can tell you, you can expect to pay $1,000 minimum a day for emergency services and Rosie was a patient for 5 days. I was on the phone some of those days 3 times a day with Embrace as we journeyed through Rosie's medical issues and some of those days it was touch and go. Each and every Embrace phone representatives was so caring and compassionate and extremely knowledgeable. Rosie was our Christmas miracle! My second pup who just turned 8 months in December now has Embrace pet insurance as well. My husband was more than willing to add him to the policy. We take out insurance never hoping to find out how it works and if it's worth the investment. My husband and I can tell you as a verified user it only takes once. Per policy Embrace paid straight into my checking account without issue or a challenge. I rate Embrace insurance and it's team a 10. As I share my journey with others I always follow it up... if you have a pet or are getting a pet it's worth it. I pay less than one dinner/pizza out a month. A little sacrifice for peace of mind.

I have used ASPCA insurance for 10 yrs.

When i send all of the bills in for a problem/treatment at one time, i have rec'd a quick response. They send me an email verifying receipt of my paperwork and it doesn't take long before a check arrives in the mail. ASPCA premium prices, for similar services, are comparable to other companies, better than some. I have been using the company for 10 years for 3 different pets.

Not sure what I would do with not having Trupanion Insurance.

Not sure what I would do with not having Trupanion Insurance. Everyone I talk to help me feel so comfortable when your pet is sick.

Camille was absolutely outstanding.

Camille was absolutely outstanding. Astonishingly helpful. It was a delight to speak to them. I work on the phone for a living, and understand the pressures and the level of difficulty one is faced with when working with strangers over the phone during needful situations. I could not have been more pleased. This is the kind of person and service that makes using Trupanion a worthwhile endeavor for persons and pets and one of the ways in that make your service stand apart from the rest of the animal insurance companies out there. Finding a smart, polite, sincere, informative, good humored and patient person on the other end of a stressful process makes both the experience of using Trupanion better, but the whole of ones day absorbs goodness from the efficiency., effectiveness and pleasantness of such an exchange. This also speaks well for any person who has hired, trained and overseen Camille and Camilles overall persona. Thank you so much Trupanion, Thank you so much Camille.

bethany was very nice and tried to be helpful.

Bethany was very nice and tried to be helpful. she even called me back about 15 minutes after our first conversation to advise me that the people who would have the answers to my questions were not available but that she would continue to follow up and get me an answer. so far .... no one has gotten back to me with an answer. for that reason I am unhappy with my contact with Bethany.

I really wanted to talk with a Supervisor concerning my ongoing issue but she was reluctant to do that.

I really wanted to talk with a Supervisor concerning my ongoing issue, but she was reluctant to do that. She basically told me that she could do the same thing as the Supervisor could. So... had to re-explain my issues for the 10+ time.

Disappointed with help Trupanion gives!

I’m always disappointed with how little help Trupanion gives when it is a valid claim !! Not paying for an exam when the dog is admitted to a critical care setting ?? That is ridiculous . I was very disappointed by the final amount Trupanion covered for Dusty .
