Premiums
Trupanion premiums just went up by 50% per year. I know they need to adjust but not 50%. If your dog has allergies then literally any skin condition is blamed on allergies and seen as a pre-existing condition. Have never had to claim for anything major and hopefully never will but it will be interesting to see if we get any reimbursement. Dental - if your dog has just a minor amount of plague then it is a pre-existing condition. We are keeping our policy for now with the highest deductible but if the premiums go up again, it will not be worth it.

Fast response time!
Trupanion is always so fast to email me with all the invoice refunds and many more. I am always so happy and appreciate Trupanion a lot. Yes, it is more expensive per month as it ages but it is worth it with my Roxi dog! This is the first time I could call you about the Gentle Vet invoices that were not being sent well to Trupanion since they had different customers. So I appreciate all you could help me with and calling the Gentle Vets! Hope Gentle Vet does it back to normal to Trupanion.

Rep was fine
The rep. was fine but you need to empower them to take & resolve minor appeals. It is embarrassing to have to repeatedly ask very busy veterinarians to call or write justifications for their orders. It is the single reason none of my friends will get pet insurance. Their experience, and to a degree mine, is that the inevitable hassle is not worth their time.

Best decision
Trupanion is the best vision my family made to protect our pets health care needs. In time of severe illness Trupanion made it possible for our dog to receive the very best care and not to put a huge financial strain on our budget. I recommend everyone I speak with to call Trupanion. It's the best insurance on the market.

Processing time
I used to always give 9's and 10's for everything. Trupanion has gone down in their processing time from 1-2 days to now 5 weeks. Chantal was as helpful as she could be, but was very limited on what she could say. As I have stated before, your EOBs leave a lot to be desired. As a former claims specialist for a large insurance company, I know you can do better.

Answered everything.
Very helpful and was able to answer all my questions. Never experienced a problem with Trupanion. Due to my pet's surgeries they have been a lifesaver. I want my pet to have the best care available and with Trupanion that is possible. Reasonable rates which you can adjust to what you can afford. Worth every penny.
