Worth it? Im not sure.
A $435.00 bill and you covered $76.64 of it. You explained why. I am not impressed. You processed the claim quickly. But that was the only positive. You have covered more of previous claims, but my premiums are double what they once were. My dogs are only 4 and 6 years old, so that was a quick escalation in monthly cost. Would i recommend your service? Probably not.

Customer service is always very helpful. The monthly payment is reasonable and when I do put in a claim to get the claim approved is fairly quickly and definitely easy to do. I would recommend anyone to this linsurance.

Quick and easy
MetLife Pet is easy to submit a claim and they always pay. Minimum human interaction needed. Last time it was really fast to get the reimbursement. Only down side is that on the first year I paid $45 a month. Now I’m paying $90.

Impressed with Pumpkin insurance
I just got a puppy and wanted to start him off with pet insurance, since the costs for medical have risen so much over the years. I called to understand and purchase the pet insurance and was pleasantly surprised to have a person on the other end who was extremely helpful in explaining the policy offering and costing. I purchased Pumpkin insurance and could not be happier. I purchased the accident and wellness (since he is pup). He went in for his second series puppy shots and my Pumpkin wellness insurance covered the entire cost. I submitted the paid invoice and it was approved in less than 24 hours and the funds were returned to my account within 5 days.

Premium hikes of 40%
Be aware that people in Washington state MetLife pet insurance has decided to up insurance premiums by close to 40%. I had two policies for my cats who are all between six months and a year and a half old. I have two cats on each policy first policy was $10,000 I was paying $41 monthly and that's with a $250 deductible and 90% payed back. They decided they wanted to update it to $57 on my renewal date. My second policy is $20,000 and it was $53. They are wanting to update that to $89. Looks like I'm gonna be looking for a new Pet Insurance because they're trying to blame it on inflation through vet clinic upping their prices yeah, I work in the animal healthcare industry as a technician and I can tell you that rates have not gone up 40% at vets. They want me to lower what I have on my policy down if I want it to be cheaper, which is ridiculous that would meanI pay more to get less. I understand a little bit of a hike, but to do this is unreal. I would definitely suggest anybody in Washington state to try to find somewhere else until they get their rates under control. I'm not gonna take my deductible down or how much they pay me back down when I'm paying more that makes no sense and a 40% hike to try to blame it on veterinary cost being upped is them just wanting to up their rates and blame it on vet cost and inflation. When really they just want more money further stockholders. Especially since online they say rates will not be up due to claims but really what they mean is we won't tell you. It's claims we'll just say it's inflation or vet cost. I've worked in the corporate industry and I've also worked and currently working in the animal healthcare industry and they are gonna lose so many clients due to this. So make sure if you're paying these ridiculous monthly payments that you're at least taking your animal to the vet enough to get paid back at least the cost of what your annual payment to them cost. Also, before I found out that they are going to up premiums by close to 40%. I was going to up my limit to $20,000 on the one policy and they had quoted me $71 a month ago. They told me to call back when it was closer to my renewal date and when I called back today, they wanted it to be 89 even though I had it on recording that 30 days ago they quoted me it was 71 not only that when I got my previous policy for my two cats back in August 2025 for $20,000 policy. It was $53 so there increases our way above the norm and predatory in my opinion. especially since I work in the veterinary industry and the rates at vet clinics have not went up 40% in Washington state. so I don't know how they're justifying these increases in premiums and expecting people to eat it. Also, these are the rates they gave me with the discount for me being in the animal health care industry so anybody else that doesn't even have that on there, it's probably even more expensive . There's Pet Insurance companies that I could get unlimited coverage with for these type of premiums which I'm going to be looking into. Unless they're willing to fix this issue I'm definitely not gonna be renewing with them..

I am a believer
I bought pet insurance reluctantly because of horror stories of people not getting reimbursed for claims. My dog needed a surgery for a luxating patella so this was the big test to see if pet insurance is legit. Pet's Best has made me a believer in pet insurance. The reason I didn't give a perfect score is because I don't like how you pay a copay on your deductible so it takes more money before you hit your deductible. Pet's Best is my first insurance company so not sure if that is how other carrier's do it.

They offer great coverage
They offer great coverage. Good customer service. My only reason for a 4 star instead of a 5 is because the reimbursement takes more than 3 days and direct deposit can cause issues resulting in check being mailed instead of deposited which takes additional days. Other than that great price my job qualified me for a small discount and like I said the coverage is great I love it.
