So grateful for Healthy Paws!
When I got my puppy I decided to get pet insurance through Healthy Paws because you never know what might happen with a young puppy! I wanted some coverage in case of a major problem that might be beyond the expected issues and expenses. I looked into several insurances and I'm so glad I went with them in the end! At only 7 months old my puppy sadly ended up developing a crippling shoulder problem which could only be fixed by a very expensive surgery. We had chosen a plan with a higher yearly deductible and 90% coverage to applicable issues...I had reached the deductible with applicable vet expenses before the surgery and they truly did cover 90% of the cost - and they repaid us direct deposit in a very short time! It was a tremendous help for our family, especially during such a stressful time. Although we have put a good amount of money into veterinary care for our puppy it's nothing compared to what it would have been if we didn't have this pet insurance. I highly recommend them, especially for young puppies just starting out. They also have a very easy to use app that made submitting claims unbelievably easy, and the customer service has been fantastic as well! Our puppy has been healing wonderfully from surgery and is already so much happier now that he's not in pain anymore. We are beyond grateful!

Your best friend deserves the best insurance
OK, I'm not a big believer in insurance, but when Yumi came into my life 12 years ago I felt I had to get something. I looked around a bit and finally chose Trupanion. She was a puppy then, with no health issues, and yeah, those monthly premiums weren't cheap, but I soon forgot about them. Yumi was diagnosed with a heart murmur a few years ago, then I started having to give her medications twice a day, and she developed a persistent cough from retained liquid. I would have done anything to make her better, but on September 9th 2021 my bestest friend in all the world passed away. Well that's my story. Through all the years Trupanion was by our side. And with them by our side I knew that whatever her vet recommended, Trupanion would be there to help. And they've only gotten better since the early days. Making claims is so easy - snap a picture of the invoice with your phone and submit it. That's it. Super fast - like 1 or 2 days - turnaround. Direct deposit of reimbursements. 90% reimbursement rate, at least for my policy. Never had to fight with them over what was covered or anything. I have NEVER regretted my decision to go with Trupanion. I just wish I still needed it.
